A tropical, Key West style home awaits you and your family. The river, with its expansive views opens to the Gulf of Mexico and Anclote Island and finding large shells. If swimming is your activity of the day, then your large heated pool covered by a birdcage screening and outdoor dining with a barbecue grill at your fingertips. Outside the screening, step onto a large deck to sun and watch the boats go by and to enjoy the palm trees and flowers. ** PLEASE SEE OUR GUEST BOOK AT VRBO73616 ** The colorful house is very open and is overlooking the Heated pool, deck and new dock with it's own boat lift, and River. The spacious family room with large screen T.V., VCR / DVD player and a 5 CD changer stereo and H.S internet service. The complete kitchen with all electrical conveniences is ready for your favorite meal or for fruity drinks coming from your own fruit trees. We have grapefruit, papaya, and grapes when in season. GUESTS arriving at our Holiday House don't mind if owners Jim and Judy aren't around to greet them personally, Mother Nature is happy to oblige. Outside this 1500 sq. ft. rental on the Anclote River, (five minutes north of Tarpon Springs and 35 minutes from St. Pete and Tampa Airport) seagulls soar overhead and dolphins and manatees cavort in warm waters below. Lizards and butterflies in the gardens surprising visitors with an impromptu appearance on the deck, dock or pool lanai. Holiday House invites quests to enjoy the tropical surroundings at a deliciously relaxed pace. Judy and Jim have decorated this dream cottage for people desiring an island experience. This colorful dwelling is perched on a wide river curving west to the gulf in an undisturbed nature. Dining / Shopping / sightseeing: World famous Spongs docks of Tarpon Springs is only a 10 minute car ride with a old town Greek flavor as well as assorted seafood and even Mexican Cuisine. This is a family outing place. Rent a pontoon boat and take a scenic ride up the river. beauty that can not be described. Shop in the local shops for the finest soaps and sponges, with great shells.

GREAT VACATION HOME!!!

We just returned from 5 weeks at this wonderful vacation home and have already decided to return next winter. This home is beautifully decorated, super clean, has everything to make you feel at home (including a crockpot), and the owners are friendly and gracious. We really felt "at home" during our entire stay. We highly recommend this rental to others looking for a pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable time in Florida.

A real paradise !!

Wauw ! That is the right word for our week in this wonderful house. It was cosy, clean andn everything we needed was there. The pool was big with beautiful plants and palms surrounding it. From the pool you could see the river, the mangroves and most of all wildlife. We saw butterflies and even an alligator further away in the river waiting for a nice fish we tried to catch. The boat ride with Jim, the owner, was wonderful and very pleasant. He was always there when we needed him. We will come back in the future and passed it further to our friends. If you want a relaxed vacation please rent this home.

Fantastic Holiday House!

What a great house. When my family and I walked in, we felt like we had walked into paradise!

The house is beautiful, the photos DO NOT do it justice (it's bigger in reality). The pool was warm and clean. The house is decorated wonderfully. We felt like we were really on vacation.

Jim and Judy were a pleasure to deal with. The home was super clean, had a fantastic view and was everything as described. We just hope we did our best to take care of it while we stayed there. This home is also in a great location (near Tampa airport, restaurants, Clearwater and Tarpon Springs, etc.) Busch Gardens isn't too far away either (about a 30-45 min. drive depending on traffic).

I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in the Tampa area.

We can not wait to return!
