Decompress from daily life in the cozy log cabin on Little Bear Lake (128 acre all sports lake with lots of fish and water sports). Adjacent Big Bear Lake is a public lake that is 350 acres. Step back to a more simple life while enjoying today's amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking pleasure. Warm yourself next to the stone fireplace in winter or chilly weather. Lay on the beach, swim to the raft in crystal clear water. Dock your motorboat right in front of the door. Many water toys for your enjoyment including a row boat, paddle boat, windsurfer. Have your morning coffee on the screened porch and catch the Bald Eagle in flight or listen to the loons cooing. Evenings call for a fire on the beach to catch the glorious sunsets. This is the perfect place to rest, relax, spend time with family & friends. Golf mecca is nearby. Centrally located, it makes a perfect place to plan day trips to other cities.

  • Bedrooms are quaint, charming and very clean. The loft is great for kids but we find adults love it maybe more than kids do. Both the sleeper sofas are innerspring and very comfortable.

Exactly what I was looking for

Villa Pina was exactly what I was looking for. A nice, rustic get-a-way spot on the water.

The house is great. It's cute on the outside and really gives you that "up north" feeling on the inside. The main room is all exposed timbers, and decorated in true cabin fashion. The two bedrooms both offer enough room for a couple to sleep and store their goods. The kitchen offers plenty of pots, pans and tools in order to cook any meal you could think of. The attached porch is a nice place to watch a sunrise in the morning. While there is sleeping available on the porch, I wouldn't recommend it.

The lake is beautiful. Extremely clear, you can see to the bottom in even moderately deep water. We didn't have much luck fishing but were still extremely pleased with the lake.

The area is sparse, which is exactly what we wanted. Still, Gaylord is 25 or so minutes away for your "big box shopping needs".

A great deal for the money. I'd return to Villa Pina.
