From the moment that one arrives to this stone clad Spanish Colonial home, they will enter a luxury paradise that was designed as a lifestyle, intentionally created for relaxation and entertaining. Castillo Del Mar is an incredibly romantic retreat, and yet, it is the perfect resort for a family. The property’s private beach is a wonderful setting to enjoy a family day of sun and sea, or a cocktail at sunset. Castillo Del Mar is not a typical rental. It was patiently designed and decorated by its owners who have traveled the world to find many of the treasures that lie inside. That is why Castillo Del Mar is only offered for a limited number of rentals per year. If you love luxury and appreciate quality, you will feel at home.

The township of Highland Beach rubs shoulders with, the well known, Delray Beach. With great reason, one can find Delray Beach listed in the book, 'The Best Small Towns In America'. This charming downtown area is full of pedestrians browsing the shops and enjoying the sidewalk cafes along 'The Avenue', as the main street is fondly known. Experience Salsa dancing to a live Cuban band or a piano bar after dinner. Numerous events are scheduled throughout the year, often the street is closed for 'Jazz on the Avenue' evenings. Bring the family to the lighting of the 200ft holiday tree or enjoy the frequent art events. The plays at the local theatre are wonderful. If you are into tennis, the Men's ATP Tennis Tournament at the Delray Beach Tennis Center is world class and open to the public. Expect to see names like Andy Roddick or Andre Agassi playing. Or, should you just want to relax, you don't even have to leave Castilla del Mar, its island location and private beach.

The photos in this listing do not accurately depict the actual property. The house is like one out of a magazine, the attention to details, and the quality, are everywhere. We had dinners pooside, under lit trees, with breezes coming in off the ocean. This home is "an experience", perfect for the most discriminating....We did not want to leave.

Walking into this house you instantly know that a lot of work was put into the design and decorating.We have rented a lot of high end homes and can tell you that you wont be dissapointed with this one.The master bedroom and kitchen look like they can make the cover of a designer magazine.Great people to rent from also.We hope to come back next year.
