Beautiful detached villa with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sun terraces, its own gardens and solar heated pool. Air conditioning throughout - cool air during summer and warm air during winter. Free internet. Located on an exclusive hillside development in a secluded position with good access. The community has two more pools, a tennis court and a football practice area. The villa has panoramic views of the tropical coastal plain, the Mediterranean coast, the rock of Salobreña and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is conveniently located close to beach, shops and restaurants. The resorts of Almuñecar (aqua park) and Nerja (caves) are nearby and there are good motorways to Granada (Alhambra and skiing) and Malaga. This eastern end of the Costa del Sol enjoys a unique tropical micro climate, reputed to be the best in Europe. A self-contained apartment below the terrace is not rented out nor occupied during rental periods. Not suitable for those with mobility problems/wheelchairs

Amazing views of the Rock of Salobrena, Costa Tropical plain, Sierra Nevada mountains and Mediterranean sea. Granada, Malaga and Almeria Airports are just 60, 90 and 120 mins away respectively. Salobrena is 5 min drive, a Moorish town on a Rock topped by a castle and surrounded by bars, restaurants and a beach. Further beaches and coves nearby. Almunecar 15 min drive, very Spanish tourist town with an aqua park and a little more night life and activity. The 'English' resort of Nerja is a 30 min drive. Motril 10 min drive, a Spanish working town, but worth a wander round - don't forget market day! Granada 60 min drive is a lovely place to explore with lots of Moorish influence , particularly in the Albaicin area , and of course the Alhambra palaces - make sure you pre-book tickets! . Further afield are the Moorish cities of Cordoba, Ronda and Seville.

Notes: All the living rooms, bedrooms and kitchen are air-conditioned with cool air during summer and warm air during winter. The main front terrace has a purpose built BBQ and large patio table with parasol and chairs and is the normal dining area in summer. It has spectacular views over the tropical plain, the rock of Salobrena, the Mediterranean coast and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The swimming pool is solar heated and 7m x 4m with 3 steps down into shallow end. All the rental accommodation is on one level. There is an apartment underneath which is not rented out nor occupied during villa rental periods. There are also 2 other outdoor pools, tennis court, children's swing play area and football pitch available on the community.

The pool is heated with solar panels, is on a separate lower terrace with gated access and is approximately 7m x 4m in size. There are two more pools, a communal tennis court and a 5-a-side football practice pitch within the community public area.

Golf: The local 18 hole golf course is 5 min away. It is right by the sea and has a very nice restaurant which welcomes visitors.

Skiing: The Sierra Nevada ski centre is approximately 70 min drive away and offers good facilities, equipment rental, restaurants, hotels and a full selection of runs suitable for beginners and experienced skiers. It has been regularly used for grand prix ski events and made an unsuccessful bid for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Other Activities: Sierra Nevada Ski centre - 75 min.

We visited Villa Vista from 25 Feb til 4 March..Firstly, a big thank you to Pat and Richard who made our booking go so smoothly. The house is lovely with such amazing views! We had a great time in Salobrena. The house was very comfortable and had everything we could have wished for. We also spent a day skiing up at the ski station in the Sierra Nevada and a great evening afterwards enjoying the Tapas bars and vibrancy of Granada. We are coming back...!!
Owner's Response: As Villa Vista is only 90 mins from Ski-slopes, we have in the past skiied in the morning and had lunch at El Penon on the beach in! We look forward to seeing you again....!

Villa Vista is an excellent property and highly recommended for a great and memorable holiday. Perfect for a relaxed holiday by the pool, or as a base to discover some of the best sights of Andalucia.

The property itself has jaw dropping views towards the Sierra Nevada mountains and Salobrena town and beach. The villa is worth staying in just for the view.
The exterior of the villa is maintained to a good standard with a very nice seating area to the front with BBQ and stunning views - perfect for the evenings! The private pool is ideal for keeping cool and also has great views.
The interior is very well presented with excellent facilities, and air con in all rooms (an essential to get some sleep in the summer heat!).

Richard and Pat the owners of the Villa were extremely helpful throughout. Nothing is too much trouble, and the extra little touches really make a difference to your stay.

A car is essential to staying in this Villa, which is safe left in the large private garage.

Overall a great place to spend your summer holiday.

I will be recommending that any of my family and friends wanting to visit the area give Richard and Pat a call. An excellent Villa and great value for money.

Room with a view

Luxurious property with outstanding views of Sierra Nevada mountains to your left down to the mediterranean on your right.

The owners went out of there way to make our stay extra special. The villa is ideal for exploring the wonders of Andalucia, or equally just chilling out.

The property was very clean inside, and a welcome pack was supplied on arrival, great if you havnt been able to get to the shops. The exterior was also well maintained with ample chairs, sunbeds, cushions etc.

The front dining terrace gives you a panoramic view for miles, which is constantly changing .

A car is an absolute must, and you need to be on your guard when climbing the very twisty road from the A road up Mount to the Villa.

Poool is solar heated, and gives some much needed relief from the heat of the sun.

Excellent value for money, and easily accessible from local airports.

Pat and Richard the owners were very good at communication from booking right through to delivering keys. they also have a very helpful agent locally that can sort out any problems that you have.
