Located on Indian Point, a private 400 acre land preserve of woods, beaches, bays , tidal sand flats, majestic rock promontories and spectacular views. Indian Point is at the southern most tip of Georgetowm, which sits between the mouth of the Sheepscot and Kennebec Rivers. Though most stay on Indian Point for its feeling of a remote island get away, others take the 10 minute drive to well known Georgetown attractions such as the beaches of Reid State Park and Five Islands Lobster Wharf , known for its delicious lobster feasts and one of the prettiest views in Maine. Other Georgetown attractions include The Robinhood Meeting House ( five star dining), Georgetown Pottery and several artists' galleries. A little farther down the road, twenty minutes away is the historic town of Bath with its many wonderful shops and restaurants as well as the Maine Maritime Museum . For more sightseeing, Portland and Boothbay Harbor are both an hour drive away.
