This gated home is on the oceans edge anchored by some of the tallest cypress trees in Oregon. Country charm embraces you as you are only 18 steps from your beautiful semi-private beach. Whales, osprey, seals, and other wildlife are right outside the door. You will feel completely removed from the world but are only minutes from town. Sip a glass of wine and enjoy breathtaking sunsets and magnificent ocean ambiance. Beach-side serenity is waiting for you. Very comfortable beds, full kitchen, and downstairs is an entire private suite with bedroom, family-room and separate bathroom. HUGE private beach is directly down the back stairs. Swim, explore, have bonfires and s'mores! Wireless broadband Internet helps you stay connected while still being away from it all. Only three miles away from casino.

High Tide Highlights: No pictures or words can do this property justice! Right out the back patio are stairs directly down to a HUGE private beach. Clamming and bonfires right out the back door. The sound of the waves crashing can be heard throughout the house. View from the upper deck is spectacular! A porch swing is located at the top of the stairs for those who want to witness the beach and waves without getting sandy. Perfect place for an afternoon read.

Relax: Above all else, the High Tide Beach House is relaxing. Cozy and quiet, it is the perfect getaway without being far from everything you may need (town is a short five minutes away).

Crashing waves lulled the stress right outta us!

The only other review I could find for this vacation home recommeded its use for a girls getaway, and did we ever! It was perfectly suited for our needs and tastes. Cable tv w/music channels allowed us to sing out our inner divas as the waves applauded our every off-key note. We made good use of the deck, (Oh the sunsets! Oh the harvest moon!) and also the blender! Our hosts couldn't have been easier to deal with making it a friendly and stressfree transaction from beginning to end.
Thanks again Beach House, we'll be back next year!

Truly a home away from home...

This home is made for family or group vacations but I stayed there by myself and really enjoyed my stay. The view is spectacular (especially from the top deck at sunset or low tide). There is a private beach down a flight of stairs at the back door. The tide pools have fascinating sea life... including butter clams (be sure to get a license before gathering any clams). The home is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. When you get tired of walking on the beach, claming, and investigating the tide pools; there is plenty of entertainment inside the home. There are board games, movies, cable television and Internet access. There are also wonderful places to relax and stare out at the ocean. The sound of the waves is sure to lull you to sleep at bedtime, naptime... anytime. I look forward to returning in the near future.
