Directions: Take 64E to 264E. Get off at the Birdneck Rd exit. Make a right at the light on Birdneck Rd. Stay on Birdneck Rd until it intersects with General Booth Blvd. Make a right at General Booth Blvd and travel for about 5 minutes. At the 7-11 on the left, make a left at the light onto Princess Anne Rd. At the first 4-way intersection, go what feels like straight even though you will now be on Sandbridge Rd. Take this for about 8 minutes. Make a right at the light at Sandpiper Rd. Go about 4 miles (pay attention to the speed limit). Kaelee's Kastle and the Sanctuary at False Cape will appear on the left side. Make a left onto White Cap lane then a quick right into the parking garage where you will find 2 reserved parking spaces. There are several ways to get to Kaelee's Kastle so you might want to do your own search using 3700 Sandpiper Rd, Virginia Beach, 23456 as your address.

Can't wait until next year

The only thing I can say about the description of this condo is; it was a little to modest. Everything exceeded our expections. Everyone from the man of the family to the 17 year old girl to the 4 year old boy had more fun they excpected. The only bad part of the week was leaving. The condo was clean and organized. Everything worked perfectly. We had a 13 hours drive down, and we hate driving. Before we got there we swore this was the last driving vacation. And by time we ventured home we were trying to determine which week to book for next year. Everyone, including the other guests, were so nice that it was amazing. I do NOT impress easily, and I take a few days to unwind from work, and I was relaxed within 12 hours of being there! I can't wait unitl next year.

Fantastic condo as owner promised

My family and I stayed at Kaelee's Kastle in June 2009 and the condo was just as the owner described, and the owner was easy to work with and accessible.
The Sanctuary resort is a beautiful facility and lived up to our expectations. As with any vacation it was not perfect, which was primarily due to poor weather. We liked the easy beach access, the location as the southern end of Virginia Beach, the pools at the resort, the fitness rooms, and the grilling areas.
The resort can improve on a few things: 1.) the hot tub was inoperable several of the days, probably because of all the unsupervised children who go in it and play with all the controls, 2.) They could have a kiddie pool, but I would imagine the parents would let them run wild no matter where they are. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, and the place was not overrun with infants.
David (the owner) was extremely accomodating. The condo was beautiful, clean and all the rooms were just as pictured. I would recommend this condo and resort for people of all ages.
Traffic going into Virginia Beach on Saturday was bumper to bumper for about 2 hours, so be patient and plan accordingly.

Family fun

We had a great time at Kaekee's Kastle. The fishing pier is walking distance and the local seafood was fantastic. Dealing with the owner was a pleasant surprise and the condo itself is comfortable and well appointed. You will need a car to get to most of the "attractions" but with the beach at your doorstep, you'll probably want to stay home. It really felt like a home away from home. I would recommend this property to my family and friends.

Great Time in a Great Condo

We just returned from a long weekend in Sandbridge and stayed at Kaelee's Kastle. I have to say I am a HERO in my family's eyes for finding such a wonderful condo for us to stay in. We had a blast.

The owner's were wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. The condo itself was in a great location (15 steps from the pool-can't beat that). The condo had a great layout, was very roomy, clean and it was so nice to arrive to clean sheets and fluffy towels (one less thing to have to pack)

Sandbridge is a great loaction if you are looking for a quaint beach town...not built up, excellent and wide beach and a location that really lets you focus on the people that you came down with.

The complex had so much to offer and since we traveled with 2 small children it was great to have 3 pools as an option where one pool was designed especially for children. I actually felt like I was in the Caribbean or some exotic location. We also loved walking across the street to Baja for good food.

We loved it and we will be going back!

Great Vacation!!!

My niece was married on 5/24 at Virginia Beach. We decided to make a vacation of our trip. We rented the condo from 5/17 - 5/31. What a great time we had! Our party consisted of my wife and I (both 51years old), our daughter and her husband, and our son and his girlfriend (from 23 - 25 years old). We rode bikes into the park (around 14 miles one day), kayaked in the bay, fished from the pier, and spent a lot of time on the beach and around the pool (the kids had wetsuits and went into the ocean some, but it was still pretty cold). Our son is a chef so we ate in the condo (we did get some great fresh seafood at Bonnie and Sons). He thought the kitchen was great for a condo (not what you usually find), lots of room, storage and nice appliances. He also created (chefs don't cook) a Thai dinner for the bride and groom, all of us and my sister and her husband, at the large cooking station in the courtyard (it has a large grill, two extra eyes, a refrigerator, a sink and a bar). That was a huge success. We went to some wedding parties in Virginia Beach so we didn't need to party any at Sandbridge, but it seemed that the Baja restaraunt and bar across the street was providing good food and entertainment. We have travelled quite a bit and this would rank as one of our better vacations. Lots to do (especially if you are adventurous), great accommodations, and friendly and helpful staff at "The Sanctuary".
