Photos and Description of this Rockaway Beach holiday 2 bedrooms, 1 bath sleeps 4+

Quiet and cozy, completely updated mobile home in a tree-d residential neighborhood. The property has a small grove of alder trees with grass all around. Picnic table and chairs and lots of open sunny space. The inside has everything you would need for a week or a weekend at the beach. VCR with a good supply of tapes. DVD too! A comfortable futon couch and chair in the living room. cozy kitchen with all the necessary appliances. A short three block walk to a 7 mile sand beach for long strolls. It is an easy walk to town (1/2 mile) for shops and restaurants. The yard has room to park an RV. WIFI available in local shops. The local area abounds with many activities for all types of visitors. The nature lover can hike, crab, clamming, fish, golf, surf , explore tide pools, hunt, bike. Less vigorous activities include sunset watching over the Pacific ocean, antiquing, historical site visits, walking nature trails, Tillamook cheese factory, etc..

Notes: This property is a lovely older mobile home. It has all been recently updated with new vinyl flooring paint inside and out. New frig, stove top, and microwave. There is a short walk to Nature Conservancy land that has a wonderful trail through old growth forest and wetlands. The neighboring properties are mostly homes both weekend places and full time residences, most of the time it is quiet and peaceful and only 3 blocks to the beach. NO Smoking allowed.

This place was a great base for our getaway this winter. The coast is quiet around the New Year, half of Rockaway beach was closed. That was perfect for our stay. The owner gave us a good price for the 10 days we were there despite the holidays. The beaches and walking trails in the area are gorgeous; and you cannot find better oysters than at Pirate's Cove a few miles south on 101. Pacific Seafood outside of Tillamook is another great spot- get lunch and then take fresh seafood home with you. we found everything we needed in the kitchen. I was sad to leave and hope that we will get up there again during slightly better weather.
