Beautiful Cape in quiet Mashpee neighborhood, built & lovingly maintained for 3 generations. House is great for 1 family or more. The in-law apartment (sleeps 2) provides privacy - perfect for vacationing with another couple, grandparents, a small family, or teenagers. Main house has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6 people. (sofa bed in living rm can sleep another 2) The 2 room apartment has its own bathroom & kitchen. Rental includes guest pass to association beach on John’s Pond only 1/3 mile away. John's Pond is a 350 acre freshwater lake, trout stocked, with private natural sand beach, public boat ramp, great for water skiing, fishing, & boating. Short drive to either South Cape Beach or Old Silver Beach - both warm ocean water. 1 mile to general store, pizza place, donut shops, gas station, restaurant, etc. 2 miles to Mashpee Commons famous shopping with banks, upscale stores, restaurants, movies. 5 golf courses w/in 10 miles. Local Beaches include Old Silver Beach in Falmouth and South Cape Beach in Mashpee. Rental includes Guest Pass to John's Pond private beach. John's Pond also has a pubic boat ramp, so you can bring your boat and fish, swim, waterski, or tube on the lake. Jet Skis are also allowed. Shopping opportunities include Mashpee Commons, Cape Cod Mall, Outlet Shopping, Christmas Tree Shops, and the many local shops in Falmouth, Hyannis, etc. Deep Sea Fishing, whale watching, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket are close by in Falmouth. Cape Cod Children's Museum and Wood's Hole Oceanographic Institute are also a short drive away. Plenty of golf courses in local area.
