Wonderful white Christmas

We had such an amazing, relaxing time in this beautiful farm house. We spent the Christmas week in 2007 far away from home and felt completly comfortable and welcome. John and Cindy went out of their way to ensure our first "white Christmas" was perfect. John put up a huge real Christmas tree and decorated it before we arrived on Christmas Eve, as well as having a brand new sled for the kids to play on all ready and waiting, he also had a bottle of Australian wine for the adults to enjoy. The house was lovely and warm with plenty of space for all of us (myself, husband, mother and 2 children). We were able to spread out and enjoy all the peace and quiet or go sledding or even make a fantastic snowman. John and Cindy took time out to socialize with us and take us all for a long walk around the farm. We drove the 10 minutes to Jiminy Peak ski fields with no problems at all.We could have easily stayed longer as there is much to do in this beautiful area.
We hope to go back one day and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
Our kids were so impressed with John, they named their snowman after him.

My family and I recently stayed at the farm. The 5 of us had ample room to move around and the sleeping arrangements were perfect.

My mother-in-law had never been out of Texas. The relaxing nature of this place literally made it difficult for her to leave. She wants to come here every year. My husband, daughter and I sat outside and star-gazed for hours.

John was a great host. I unfortunately fell ill and had to visit the ER. John rearranged the cleaning schedule to allow me extra time to rest. He even printed out our boarding passes when we were leaving.

I would like to emphasize how much room there is inside the farm house. There is a full-size washer/dryer, two nice sized bathrooms, ample closet space.

There wasn't anything I needed that wasn't in this farmhouse. It is home away from home without the traffic, noise, and frantic pace of city life.

Give it a try, you will enjoy. We did!!!
