This Michiana Shores (Stop 38) cabin is located near many attractions. Two short blocks to Lake Michigan beach. Dunes Summer Theater, Blue Chip Casino, Lighthouse Mall, Antiquing, New Buffalo Michigan and many fine restaurants are all within a ten minute drive.

Location: Indiana in USA

Michiana Shores In. is where Indiana, Michigan and Lake Michigan meet. An hour and ten minute drive from downtown Chicago. The Southshore and Amtrak trains stop only ten minutes from the cabin. New Buffalo Michigan is only eight minutes away, and Union Pier Michigan a few minutes beyond that. Notre Dame campus is a short, 30 minute drive!

This peaceful Michiana Shores Cowboy cabin is only two short block from the Lake Michigan beach. The large master loft hosts a queen size bed and it's own full bath. Two guest rooms host a double bed each. The large dining room opens onto both a large patio and a screened porch. The western character of a log and the lush gardens complete this restful retreat. TV's, VCR, DVD, stereo, w/d, d/w, c/ac, stone fireplace with two comfortable covered porches. Wireless internet access.

Located a bit over an hours drive from downtown Chicago, near New Buffalo Michigan, Dunes Summer Theater, Blue Chip Casino, Lighthouse Mall, great antiquing and many fine restaurants.

Peace & Quiet Galore

This cabin is so serene and peaceful and so close to the beach. The garden is wonderful and only adds to this great place. The photos do not do this place justice and I can't say enough good about our stay.

Peace and Serenity

The Cowboy Cabin was a great place to stay. The area was peaceful and serene and just what the doctor ordered. The area is close enough to cities like Michigan City, New Buffalo and LaPorte and yet you felt as though you were so far removed from it all. The beach was close by and the sunsets were gorgeous. We were also able to take our dog who loved swimming in Lake Michigan. Coffee on the patio every morning was such a pleasure and the weather was excellent for our stay. I could have easily stayed another week. We brought most of our food with us and grilled as much as possible. We did have pizza at Stop 50 one night, which was overpriced for the quality. We shopped at the nearby towns and also went to Four Winds to make a deposit one day. There was a horseback riding stable but it was outrageously priced so we did not participate. There were some great walking trails and just walking around the neighborhood looking at all the beautiful houses was a real treat. I would most certainly recommend this property to a friend and relative. In fact, we are thinking about renting again next year. Thank you for a wonderful time. --Pam
