Our Hyannis house is located close to beaches:
Enjoy the many beaches that Barnstable has to offer when staying at our house. Here is a list of our favorites and a short description.
Kalmus Beach is 3 miles from our house - 9 minutes. Located on the Lewis Bay side of Nantucket Sound, it is considered the best in the Northeast for windsurfing! It also has a picnic area.
Craigville Beach is 1.8 miles from our house - 5 minutes. Warmest waters on the Cape!
Sandy Neck is 7.8 miles from our house - 23 minutes. A 6 mile long coastal barrier beach with dunes, marshes, and wonderful bird life. Great for walking during low tide!
Veterans Park Beach is 2.5 miles from our house - 8 minutes. It is a favorite with families because it has a playground, and shady picnic area. There are grills for cooking.
Sea Street (Keyes Beach) is 1.29 miles from our house - 5 minutes. It is located on the ocean side of Nantucket Sound and has great views out to the Atlantic. Also has a great sand bar during certain tides.
