Situated on the scenic Pigeon River, just 5 miles from I40, you can fish in the front yard or launch an adventure when you launch your raft or kayak. As a matter of fact White Water of Waynesville provides rafting and tubing trips just a ¼ mile up river. Fish for trout, bass, and more without leaving the park like front yard. Hike the many trails of the National Parks and Blue Ridge Parkway. Seek the thrill of skydiving without leaving the ground at Appalachian Amusement Center’s Vertical wind tunnel. Bring the bike, motorized or not, and enjoy the beauty of the mountain scenery while you ride, then lock it up safe and sound in the garage at night! Spend the day in awe at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville just 20 miles west. Hunt for numerous game species in the National Forest Snowboard or snow ski at the Cataloochee Ski Resort just 15 minutes east. Or better yet relax on the porch and watch the river go by.

Nice cabin.Garage really handy,we locked up three harleys everynight.Nice quiet location.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
