San Juan holiday

We are a younger married couple and like to travel a lot. We loved this place. I'm not really sure where to start. This is why we liked it so much:

1. value--You'll feel like you're on vacation here on quiet Calle Elena in Ocean Park with the beautiful patio garden that Betty cares for so meticulously. I really think the owner should put a picture of the patio on this website. It's where we enjoyed our morning coffee or grilled (there's a gas grill to use) salmon or steak at night. The rooms are decorated modernly (even better than the pictures) and are well equipped with things like iPod dock, wine glasses and all other necessary kitchen items, hair dryer, coffee and coffeemaker, wireless internet, lots of towels, beach chairs and coolers.

2. location--My husband and I like to "blend in" and not stand out as tourists while we're on vacation while at the same time not staying too far from sightseeing, nightlife, restaurants, etc. It's almost on the beach--less than a half block to a beautiful beach where it seems more locals than tourists hang out. It's such a short walk that you can carry a heavy cooler in your arms and not get tired...we would know. :)

3. ease of booking--We booked it kind of last min., but Jerome, the owner, assisted us well in booking over the phone and referred us to his on-site manager to coordinate the arrival/check-in.

I really don't think you'll be disappointed. We're moving to PR and staying here while we look for an apartment. Not only WOULD we go back; we ARE going back.
