I just spent a one month stay at Aurelia Den.. A month in Rome was a dream of mine for a long time. I consider myself so lucky to have found this apartment on line.its been awesome. clean, bright and so convient. The bus spots in front of the building. ...takes you to the subway or you can walk.. say12 minutes which i loved to do as i would have my italian coffee on the way. the owners Louise and Vincenzo are amazing. so concerned about your stay. they are a phone call away to assist!!! as i was on my own .. having hi speed internet was a life saver to keep me connected to my love ones in canada. they would connect me to make sure i was ok... wow... info in the apartment are places to see etc was so helpful. everything was here that i needed.. iron, hair dryer... coffee marker.. etc etc. I've extensively travelled throught out the world.. ive stayed at many 5 star hotels and this place ranks up with the best of them. kitchen is adequate for breakfast lunch and lite dinners... fridge burnes micowave.. bed is a queen and very comfortable... bathroom has a fantastic shower with lots and lots of hot water.. what more do you need....tv is ok BBC for us english speaking ...its quite .. patio was where i would sit.. have my coffee read and plan my day.. no need to spend big $$$$ at hotels.. when you can have all of this.. great restuarants in the area. i loved the one across the street.. (blue sign).. great seafood pasta.. i felt safe .. i loved to get back at night .. close the door and feel at home. what more would you want... everything is within walking distance.. grocery store.. car rental.. piazza shops.. coffee shops.. even a mcdonalds... i would come back and refer to all my family and friends.. rome was fantastic and spending a month here has been a dream come true .lots to do in the area. plus you can walk to markets .. if you have the energy the Vatican can be walked a very easy walk lots to see.. in around 1.30 hrs i did it a few times.. stopped for coffee on the way.. window shopped .. the apartment is in a complex with local familes etc.seeing romans live was interesting. there is a large church next door its bells start at 8 and i loved to listen to them.... i will return...
