Condo Cristina # 4 is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, just a few blocks from the two most popular beaches in Playa (Mamitas and Tukan) and one block off famous Fifth Ave, or Avenida Quinta. The former Tukan Beach club is now, 'Cool' get there early and you can rent lounge chairs and an umbrella for under $10 USD for the day and the club at Mamitas is even cheaper. Have the waiters bring you some nice margaritas or cold beers at the club or walk a block to the newly opened Dr. Taco near the beach and have the shrimp burger or tacos that the famous chef, Jacques Pepin raves about. Condo Cristina # 4 is across the street from a park with a children's playground, free tennis courts, and a running track. You can sunbathe on the private rooftop solarium sunbed, have a drink at the new, shaded wet bar on the private solarium, take a dip in the pool. watch cable TV on one of the two LCD TVs, or check e-mail with the wireless broadband connection. In short, you have it all.

Plenty of space. Air conditioning, brand new, works well (important, as you know, if you have ever stayed in an older property in Mexico when it is hot.) Terrace off Master Bedroom with stairs up to private penthouse solarium AND WET BAR (Bodega Azul) as pictured in photos. If you plan to sleep six in the unit, please keep in mind that there are two single beds in the guest bedroom, a king in the master, and a pull out coach (new 2007) which sleeps two if they are children or adults on good terms.

Notes: This is a new unit in a new building. We took possession in February of 2007. We do not smoke, so although we have not designated this a non-smoking unit, non-smokers will not find that it is, essentially, a non-smoking unit. Also, the 2000 square feet size of condo includes the penthouse bar and solarium and terraces off the kitchen and Master bedroom. If you don't like large, impersonal condo complexes, Condo Cristina will appeal to you. With only four condos in the building, you can enjoy the beautiful chaos 5th Ave, only a block away, Mamitas or Tukan beaches close by, and return to the tranquility of the pool at Condo Cristina, and enjoy a cocktail at the new wet bar or a cold beer from the refrigerator on your own private penthouse solarium. It doesn't get much better than that.
