Our huge upscale house (6-Bedroom, 6-Bath Beachside of 30A) is perfect for reunions, beach weddings, families or just a large family wanting lots of space. We are next to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach on a private, gated street - less than 2 Minutes to the Beach - no streets to cross and no traffic and safe for kids. Enjoy the beach or our 12x30 Fence Enclosed Pool with table, loungers and chairs. Heated Pool for a small fee during the cooler weather. Walk to shops and 9+ restaurants in both Seacrest and Rosemary Beach or play Golf at nearby courses. Nearby shopping is abundant. Bring your bikes or rent nearby - the trail is right outside our gate. Our Gourmet Kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, microwave and is fully equipped with everything you'll need. We have televisions (7) and games for rainy days. Wireless interest is provided free. Rental also includes all linens.

'Barefoot Sands' is located in Seacrest Beach on the beach side of 30A - next to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. We are just 10 minutes to Seaside with its numerous planned concerts/activities year round. Seacrest has several restaurants to choose from, including Chops which opened in 2008 just a half block away. Georges in Alys Beach also opened in 2008 - terrific food in a very casual atmosphere. Additionally, we have several upscale clothing stores, furniture stores, as well as Starbucks and an ice cream parlor. Both Seacrest and Rosemary have planned festivals and/or activities throughout the year. The bike path that runs the entire length of 30A is located right outside our gate. Bikes are available to rent or you can bring your own.

  • Two large master baths. One has a whirlpool. The other has a huge walk-in shower. The bedroom on the first floor has a walk-in shower as well - ideal for a handicapped person. Rentals for 2010 are now available. Call or email to discuss upcoming rates. Now is the time to reserve our house - with a deposit and signed rental contract. We still have weeks available in 2009 and are offering a 20% discount over posted rates - it's a deal!!! The pool is still warm in the fall, the beach is empty and the weather is perfect. We are now doing remodeling both inside and outside our house. You will love the size of our house and it's proximity to both Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach.

Amenities: The bike path is right outside our gate down the street. The path runs the entire length of 30A for miles and miles.

More house information: Ground floor family room /dining room / gourmet kitchen features Travertine tile floors and opens out to overlook the patio and pool. Gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, GE Profile appliances, pantry and large breakfast bar. Large dining table seats 8 plus 3 more at breakfast bar. Family room features comfortable queen sleeper sofa, love seat and a comfortable side chair, large coffee table, 30” TV with DVD / VCR combination, stereo and reading lamps and side tables. Desk with 2 chairs (that can be pulled up to dining table if necessary) is convenient when you must work. The high speed wireless internet equipment makes keeping in touch a breeze. Ground floor queen bedroom #1 with 19” TV, 2 night stands and lamp is perfect for elderly guests who can’t handle the stairs. Travertine-tiled hall bath with vanity sink top and walk-in shower. Large ground floor laundry room with super capacity washer/dryer. Hot/cold outdoor shower.

Golf: Guest privileges at Shark's Tooth, Greg Norman's premier golf course, rated by Golf Digest as the number 2 in the country for 'Best New Private' courses in 2003 and #6 in the State of Florida.

Our experience at Barefoot Sands exceeded our expectations! Our family vacation included a grandmother, three of her children and spouses, and six grandchildren, ages 3 - 18. We had plenty of room to spread out, enjoying our own spaces as well as family living spaces. The kitchen was well-equipped, we ate most of our meals at the house. The house was very clean and the laundry room was convenient! We were pleasantly surprised to find convenient "hotel-like" shampoo and soap samples in each of the bathrooms. Everyone enjoyed the pool and it was an easy walk to the beach. Gorgeous sunsets! We enjoyed the nearby shopping at Pier Park, Silver Sands Outlet Mall AND the Sugar Shack! The owner of this property was very helpful, working with us and our budget. The rental company was helpful in answering questions for us before our arrival. We appreciated the location, the beautiful house and grounds and the beach. We hope to return soon to this beautiful Florida home!

Barefoot Sands...What a Beautiful Beach House!!

Dear Nancy and Bill,
What a wonderful week we had at "Barefoot Sands". You have a beautiful beach home in an absolutely great location...we loved it all and we think all your future guests will love it too.

Here is a snapshot of our week:
...Two couples...mornings we walk on the beach...have a lite lunch....early afternoons lounging and floating around the terrific pool...late afternoon maybe a little shopping, maybe a little sightseeing...then the biggest decision of the day...do we want to go out for dinner or grill something at home for dinner. After dinner finds us sitting out by the pool enjoying a night cap.

Your home is beautifully decorated and your kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed and more. Your housekeeping staff does a terrific job of keeping everything immaculately clean.

There is more than enough room for large groups. With there being just four of us, we each had a master bedroom with decks that had a beautiful view of the ocean.

We loved the beach. It has the prettiest turquoise blue water and the softest, whitest sand. We couldn't believe how close we were to the beach. Our favorite thing to do besides taking long walks on the beach was just lazing in and around the pool. We also loved our great location and the world class shopping nearby. The Seacrest Village shops are just a couple of blocks away.

We looked at a lot of beach houses before choosing Barefoot Sands. We cannot imagine there being a better place for a vacation!!! Thank you again, Nancy and Bill (who are terrific and helpful) for a great week!

P.S Now that we know that your pool is heated, we would love to come back for Thanksgiving or maybe Christmas.
