Thrill to the sensation of crashing waves as viewed from your private 450 foot wrap-around lanai, or through your 17 foot high windows. Expansive use of old Koa wood throughout. 500 thread count luxury linens and matching super-soft and cozy towels and all appointments. All rooms except bathrooms have a direct ocean view. 3 HDTV Flat panel TVs (up to 42 inches), original artwork, high speed Internet access. Totally private individual entrance. Virtually private oceanfront below you means you can lounge in your robe or swim suit on the lanai and relax in comfort and privacy. Equidistant between the Kauai Grand Hyatt and the Sheraton Kauai, but much closer to the water. About a ten minute walk along the ocean to the beach, and near Baby Beach and Brenneckes. This unit is directly located on the Ocean-front on the southern-most point of Poipu Beach, close enough to the ocean to drop a pebble into the water from your lanai. Most units in the surrounding area have no view, or they are distant or severely obstructed. Conversely, this unit is directly on unobstructed waterfront which is extremely rare & precious. Directly facing the south towards the Pacific there is exclusively ocean view. You will see giant sea turtles and whale pods in close proximity. Looking right, (West) is Baby Beach, one of the finest, and certainly the safest swimming beach for children anywhere in Kauai. This is also where you will see magnificent sunsets. Looking left is the beach crescent towards the Kauai Hyatt. You will see overwhelmingly beautiful sunrises. All around is the spray of the ocean, met by thunderous applause emulated by the breaking waves. As the sun goes down, the water turns a glistening silver and at night, waves entreat you to sleep.

The Master bathroom suite is large enough to house an entire ballet troupe, but we wouldn't recommend it. The guest room has its own bathroom. It has a two room bathroom suite, featuring a powder room on the outside, and toilet/bath/shower in the adjacent interior room.

  • The very private and intimate Master Bedroom has 17 foot ceilings, is very spacious, walk out French doors to the ocean on the lanai. All heavily paneled with Koa wood in the bathroom suite and throughout. Original art and a 32 inch flat screen HDTV with really beautiful designer furniture and bedding. There is an inaccessible loft over the Master bedroom that lets in light through 17 foot high clerestory windows. The guest room is as large as a high-end hotel suite, including two twin beds that can be made up as a king. It has a view of both the ocean and the pool. It also includes 1 28 inch HDTV with DVD player, and 5 pieces of original artwork. Both bedrooms have extensive closets, wood floors, and lots of windows and high ceilings. They are located on opposite sides of the large unit. They are both very private.

We stayed at this property for a week in October, and absolutely loved it. This Condo is very spacious, and is with out a doubt the best property in the complex. The views out of the big windows thru out the home are stunning. All one could possibly want during a vacation on Kauai is with in walking distance. Two great beaches, several great restaurants and bars and all the sunset and sea views you thought only existed on postcards.
While staying here, you can feel like you own one of the most comfortable and beautiful homes on the island. We would definetly rent again!

40ft lanai overlooking crashing waves, sea turtles and incredible ocean views. Spent a week in Sept 09. this place is a home away from home and after 11 visits to Kauai this is our favorite. You don't have to bring beach towels, snorkel gear, hair dryer, beach chairs or beach umbrella - they have it all for you to use, even an umbrella in case you get caught in the rain . Ipod docks -3 of them- CD player big flat screen TV's - every comfort of home. Well stocked kitchen too. Property manager Lisa is available 24 hours should anything go wrong but nothing did. Can't say enough about it. We were so comfortable here - it was hard to leave.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This property was exactly as advertised in the website - first class all the way, great location, great views and very relaxing atmosphere. It was most helpful to have the house manager Lisa be there to welcome you to Kauai and to also to walk you through the condo and answer any questions that you may have. We prefer to rent a house or condo when vacationing and would definitely come back here the next time we vacation in Kauai.

Starting with the warmest of warm welcomes,this place was everything we had hoped for. It was positioned over the water in such a way that it felt as if we were on a luxury yacht. Glorious views; a great and expansive lanai for reading and whale-watching; the Hawaiian sunsets!

The attention to detail in this gigantic unit was remarkable. Robes, games, even bandaids. . .the manager truly sees everything from the guest's point of view. We loved it!

Words do not adequately describe the setting of this beautiful condo. The view and the sound of the ocean is always comforting and relaxing. Watching for the whales, turtles, and dolphins makes you slow down and enjoy the world around you. The pictures of the condo are an introduction to the luxuriousness of the home, but until you step in the front door you really cannot appreciate all the beauty and ammenities. We were there for two weeks at Christmas and I was thinking I would miss Christmas decorations, but Lisa had very tasteful reminders of the holidays which I dearly loved. Lisa and Steve are fantastic and really made the stay comfortable...answering all questions and attending to all needs. You will never find a place with more ammenities be it for infants, small children, teenagers, young adults, or in betweens to retirees. Ashli, Brad, Lisa, and Steve have thought of everything. Do take walks to explore the area, see the Canyon, visit all the different beaches, play lots of golf (ask about the courses where the locals play) and tennis, and for a dining experience with a beautiful sunset visit the Beach House, or dine at Roys for outstanding food and service, and don't forget to get a Puka dog. Costco in Lihue is very conventiently located, but also visit the general store, Sueoka, in Koloa, Do get out and see and do things even though it is hard to leave the huge deck of the condo with the breathtaking views and great sunning.
