This Home is great for those who are looking to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of South Eastern Colorado. Conveniently located 40 Minutes from Colorado Springs where you can visit: The Air Force Academy, Focus on the Family, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge, Cave of the Winds, Pikes Peak as well as a host of restaurants and Malls. Drive an additional hour to Denver and watch the Broncos play at Mile High Stadium or visit Six Flags Amusement Park. Denver also hosts a great number of restaurants, malls and historical landmarks. Closer to home there is the Pueblo Lake (7 mins) where you can enjoy seasonal boating, jet skiing, fishing and swimming. Pueblo is also known for having great locations for motorcycle & quad off roading. There is also seasonal hunting for elk. Snow falls approximately in the months of October through December. A white Christmas or snowy Thanksgiving could happen. Accessible streams & hiking are all around you.

  • There will be a personal check deposit taken at least 7 days prior to occupancy. The deposit is to cover any damage or loss incurred during the stay. Should there be no accidental damage or loss then the deposit is refunded with in 24 hours of check out. There is a local property manager to assist with any questions regarding property condition. Security Deposits are fully Refundable if Keys are Returned Upon Departure, No Damage or Loss is Incurred, and Guest Leave Home in the same manner as Found on Arrival. Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice

There is a courtyard private entrance. The room is a big 14 x 20 room. This is a big house and can sleep up to 10 people. Call for more details. Notes: This house sits in a private ranch community of thousands of acres. There are neighbors that ride horses. There is seasonal snow fall, usually in the months of October to December. Snow does not fall every day during this time and it is safe to say that it falls about 25 days max during those three months. Please check with the local newspaper or your Internet to anticipate the weather during your stay. We like to get away to this place for a relaxing time of games, reading, hiking, fishing, boating, star gazing, cooking, shopping, and lots of playing. We go to the Bronco games at Mile High Stadium and we snow board at Breckenridge. There are also 24 wine tasting wineries on the eastern side of the Rockies with the closest one to our house about an hour away at Canon City known as the The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey to view access. There is an indoor laundry at your disposal, dishwasher, 2 car garage to park your rental. There is also RV access if necessary.

Things to do locally (within 20 minutes drive): You can visit the Pueblo Lake and Reservoir for fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming. The town of Pueblo is growing and has a variety of fast food, slow food and stores, such as: WalMart, Kmart, Starbucks, Golden Corral, Little Caesars, Margarita Villa, Carl's Jr., McDonald's, KFC, Hollywood & Blockbuster Video, Taco Bell, Blackeyed Pea, Texas BBQ Grill, Etc. There are many streams for fly fishing or hiking. An hour away is the Arkansas River for scenic hiking and great fishing. The Rocky Mountains give the locals great river rafting and snow boarding and skiing. There is also a motor cross park, zoo and university in town.

Drive 50 minutes from house: Visit Colorado Springs and some of Colorado's greatest attractions: Garden of the Gods, Air force Academy, Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, Arkansas River Rafting, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Royal Gorge Railroad Adventures, Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine tour. Colorado Springs has the best restaurants in the area and great shopping too.

Ski: Breckenridge is the best place to ski or snow board.
