Our Lodge: This lodge was built by my myself as a the result of a 40 year dream. It is handcrafted full log construction with all native lumber inside and out. Hardwood floors upstairs, carpet downstairs, lots of ceramic tile. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms, family room and full bath and laundry. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, sun room, large living room, dining room and 2 covered decks. It is set on 7 acres at the edge of a woods with a view that changes every week of the year. Three golf courses close by. Two ski slopes within a few minutes drive. Snowmobile trails 1/2 mile away. Several lakes and streams for fishing, rafting, or canoeing all near. The deer and turkey come for 'dinner' every day. It has a warmth that just seems to wrap around you and make you feel right at home. We are located about 10 miles South of Cadillac, Mi. Just off exit 168 on US131 near Tustin, Michigan. My sisters and I stayed at the property for a three-day weekend. We had a really good time. The owner is super nice and the house was very clean. Everything was accurate (as posted in the description). If you just want to relax and get away, I recommend this place. If you are more into doing a lot of summertime activities, I don't recommend it. Overall, We had a really nice time and really enjoyed ourselves!

This place is a gem. Would be perfect for large get togethers but even though it was just the 2 of us it was homey, beatiful and very relaxing. The view from the sunroom is spectacular. Would recommend to anyone that wants to get away from it all but still close enough to go into Cadillac for things to do.
