Walk 3 minutes from your door and you are on a beautiful residential beach or walk 3 minutes to a dock on the intercoastal and try your hand at fishing. First floor unit has screened patio with lounge chairs overlooking a lawn and palm trees. One of the most beautifully decorated units you will find. Has HDTV, Internet connection, DVD & VCR players, INTERNET CONNECTION. Mattresses are the best for no back pain in the mornings. Has everything you will need for a wonderful beach vacation, even beach chairs and umbrella. Swim in the very large pool. Golf at one of the many excellent courses in the area. St Augustine has a European feel and many historical attractions. Many beach access restaurants that will capture the sun and surf. The sounds are so relaxing. At night take a ghost tour through the historic city or dine in the pubs with the pirates. Marineland 5 miles away.

The oldest city in America has many historical sights, such as The Fountain of Youth, Spanish Fort, The Oldest School House, Winery, and other landmarks. The city has a European flare with trolleys, horse & carriage rides, forts, museums, lighthouse, parks, and many restaurants, some are right on the dunes overlooking the ocean or on the bay. Trolley tours during the day or ghost tours at night. Pirates entertain along the old street with rum and dancing. Of course the beach is one of the most beautiful in the area. Wide and not so commercial, you can even drive on it at certain times. The walking around the city is very enjoyable. Take a dinner cruise or go for a fishing voyage. You will have much to do even if it rains.

  • Entire unit was renovated in 2005 and new furniture added. The floors are all nice tile with area rugs. TV in living room is HDTV with VCR/DVD player. Master BR has TV with VCR/DVD player plus bed has a memory foam mattress that everyone loves. People comment that their aches seem to leave after sleeping here. The twin beds have a soft top but firm mattress that also is excellent for those aches. Queen sleeper is new as of 9/06.

where a week is not a week!

We were very disappointed in the location of the condo rental unit. It was advertized as a 3 min walk to the beach and to the pier. of which neither statement was totaly accurate.
The condo was a nice size and comfortably arranged, except for the small bathrooms. The floors throughout need a good scrubbing.
The front door looked out on a blacktop parking lot and the very small patio looked directly into the condo's across the lawn area with the one palm tree
Also, in all our travels this is the first time that check in was 4pm on Saturday and checkout at 10am on Friday. The owner considered this to be a full week, which seems to be a bit pricey to not be located on a beach or with a view.
We will not be using this rental again.
Owner's Response: This renter must have been confused about their check out date. I had them scheduled to check out on Sat, not Fri. I also send a detailed description of the condo and the surroundings. I am sorry they did not enjoy the unit but I also get compliments about how beautiful the unit is. I never have advertised that it is on the beach and I have walked to the beach in 3 minutes.
