Gorgeous, Newly remodeled Dec 2006 w/ new kitchen of granite counters and slate floors throughout. Ocean views from both bedrooms and living room lanai. Great view of the volcano every morning. Then each evening sit on the Lanai off the living room and watch the sun go down over the ocean. The Kauhale Makai Resort is a very quiet resort. It includes, new pool, spa, kiddie pool, gas barbecues, , putting green, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and volleyball. The master bedroom has a comfy king-size bed, desk, gorgeous stone bath, and private Lanai. The second bedroom has a new queen bed, private bath, and plantation blinds. The living room has TV and VCR, stereo with CD player, queen sleeper sofa, and 2 easy chairs. Kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need. The complex has elevators and the unit has central air. Washer/dryer on same floor as unit. Non smoking!

North Kihei is a fantastically convenient central location for seeing all of Maui. If you really want to experience the whole island with the least amount of driving this is the place for you. But at the same time north Kihei is away from all the high traffic high congestion areas.

Perfect central Maui location with ocean view!

Spacious condo for 5 adults - with perfect central location making it easy to get around all of Maui. The ocean view provides a wonderful view of the sunsets each day. The condo kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials for preparing fabulous dinners from outside gas grills. Also items for beach adventures ie. beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas.

Be be sure to check out these highlights while in Maui:
- Sunrise at Haleakala ;eave condo by 4:00am!
- Trilogy Excursion-Lahaina - Snorkel Sunrise Sail to Lanai. Expensive but worth it - we have done this 4 times now - every trip to Maui.
- IAO Valley State Park - free and beautiful walking trail!

Customer service provided by Dan and also the onsite mgmt staff in Maui was excellent.

We would definitely stay at this condo again!

Maui is the Best!

This unit is just as you see in the pictures. Updated, clean, spacious and comfortable. Truly feels like home away from home. It's a great plus to have access to bar-b-ques. Dealings with Dan wre always pleasant. We have vacationed in Maui with the family for years and we prefer the Kihei location rather than the touristy areas. Everything you want to do or explore is a short car ride away, so location is perfect. Ziplining at the Piiholo Ranch was new to us this trip and a total blast - loved it!!!! The America's Cup Sailing was an exciting, fun-filled adventure also. Loved dining by the ocean at The Palms. I'm sure the only complaint any of us has is that time flies by much too quickly when you are on vacation and having fun - and we all were having fun!!! Hope to return soon.

15 days in Maui

I recently stayed at this condo for one week with a few of my friends. my friends and I are all in our mid 20s and we ended up renting a car for the whole time we were there. The condo itself had everything you would need and more inside. The service was very friendly and I couldn't complain. The area that its in does not have much of a night life and I would highly recommend renting a car to get around as the buses do not run frequently. However, there is a starbucks, blockbuster, safeway and longs (about 4 strip malls) in the area within a 20-30 min walking distance. If you have a car then you are in the best location cos its not that far from any town on the island. I highly recommend this place and most likely will return.

Great ocean front end unit at Village by the Sea

Without a doubt one of the most spacious and comfortable units in the complex. The place was clean and comfortably held my wife & I, mom & dad, and our kids ages 3 & 5. Extra lanai off the master suite was really appreciated. Pool area is a great place to spend the day with the kids. Large, quiet beach in front of unit is great for long walks or just hangin out. Big grassy area right out front for kids to play. Easy access to close/convienient parking spot. Unit offered a nice kitchen and most everything one would need to feel at home without having to bring it all. Only complaint is that the laundry and barbeque areas could be really busy forcing some wait time. We plan on returning to stay here again.

Hi Dan,
We just got back last night and I wanted to let you know how it went for us.
We had a great time at the condo and really appreciated the use of your wonderful facilities. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals - needing only to go out a couple of times. We also enjoyed using some of the recreational equipment you had there - especially the chairs and snorkels. The kahki chair fell apart on us but the others stood up well. We also especially enjoyed the view from the lanais - the sunsets and the morning views. We usually had breakfast on the deck.
