Praia da Luz is 10 minutes west of Lagos on the Western Algarve which is famous for fantastic beaches and stunning coast line. Offering a half-mile-long sandy beach, located directly before Luz, the sheltered beach is well suited for children and is enclosed by a large, dark rock massif on the one side, and a small villa community on the other. Various water sports activities, for example diving, also attract visitors. The villa overlooks the tourist and fishing village of Praia da Luz. The town center is 2.2 km away with beaches 1.8 km. A marina lies 2.5 km and this is golfers paradise with several golf courses situated in a 2.5 km to 8 km radius.
