Come and relax at a true home away from home. We've stocked our house to include many of your favorite amenities. Centrally located to many area golf courses and situated on a private cul-de-sac with incredible views of Okemo Mountain and the surrounding area, the chalet is a wonderful place for you to gather with family. Our large hot tub is set under the elevated deck where you can relax and take in the scenery or enjoy the silence as you sit on the deck and bask in the afternoon sun. We have 2 TVs/DVDs set up in two separate living areas. Enjoy each others' company upstairs while the kids enjoy the downstairs pool table and dart board or play games in the loft. Clean, comfortable and easy to get to, our home will become a special place to get away from it all -10 minutes to Ludlow, Chester or Weston; 20 minutes to outlet shopping in Manchester, VT. . We can also accommodate special requests. Looking forward to your call. Four-wheel drive mandatory in winter.

Antiquing along scenic Routes 100 and 11, you can stop to enjoy sugar mapling, sleigh rides or local area farms. 15 minutes to 2 of Vermont's state parks; 25 minutes to Manchester, VT outlet shops; 5 minutes to the Weston Playhouse offering wonderful live theater.

Great house but...

Let me just say first, the house itself was wonderful. We had a fantastic time in the nice big hot tub, and the views indeed are great. Mountains all around. The kitchen was equipped with just about everything you need, and even came with a bunch of food in the cabinets. It was nice to have a stereo with an Ipod hookup, that definitely came in handy. Pool table in the basement was good to have too and definitely kept a bunch of us entertained. Overall this was one of the better homes we've stayed at in VT.
Some Cons
- quite far from Killington resort (about 25 minutes at least) but pretty close to Okemo
- The master bedroom bed was rather hard, other beds were better though
- Most front wheel cars wont make it up the driveway to the house, 4 wheel required with most cars
- the door busted downstairs (not from any actual physical trauma, probably just got jammed from the severe cold that weekend) and we were forced to pay 100$ from our security deposit even though we left the house immaculate and were careful with everything all weekend. Property manager was initally trying to make us pay 400$!

Overall i would recommend this property, but watch for anything getting damaged in the house and make sure to report it promptly.
