McHenry holiday house

My family and I were more than pleased with this McHenry home! It was economical, cozy, equipped with all the kitchen utensils and supplies we could have needed, was extremely clean, and felt like home! One of the reasons we chose it was because they allowed dogs and it was important to us to bring our dog on vacation. Also, we have a 1-year old grandchild for whom this house was perfect -- there were no stairs and he was very safe! If we return to Deep Creek Lake, this is the home we would like to rent. The owner answered emails promptly when we had questions and was very accessible. The money we saved on lodging was used to enjoy the many activities in the area! When we were not busy at the lake or mountains, we were content to lounge around the house and relax. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit, roasted marshmallows, and listened to the sounds of nature. It was only a few minutes to get to any of the main area attractions, and was close to stores and restaurants.In addition to Deep Creek Lake and the state park, we enjoyed the many Wisp activities, the county fair, and Swallow Falls State Park. The only thing we were disappointed in was the limited cable service on the TV, but we had many other things to do and we would still rate the home as excellent. We were pleased there was a router so our laptop computers were able to be used. Yes, we would definitely recommend this lodging to a friend and would return to it ourselves! We had never been to Deep Creek before and were taking a chance on an internet description but could not have been more pleased! We are so glad we chose to save money on lodging! What a special find this home was!
