Great Accommodations -Great Location - Great Value

Journeyed to Arizona for Spring Training with a friend and my son in tow. The pictures of the condominium looked very clean, comfortable and elegant and the pricing sounded too good to be true. The place turned out to be as good as advertised, if not better! The unit was extremely well-maintained. The decor of the unit was quite comfortable, with lots of special touches to go with a bit of Southwestern flavor. The living room area is filled with incredibly comfortable furniture, perfect for taking it easy in the evening after a long day of golf or baseball. The big screen TV makes it easy to plop in a DVD and kick back or to catch the latest sports going on. There is a nice little patio area set up with a table and chairs. It is great for a cup of coffee in the morning, or playing cards or a board game in the evening hours. The patio overlooks an open common area that backs up to a golf course. A fairly huge walking path is also there. Caught quite a few sunsets while we were there.

The bedrooms are quite comfortable. Two of the bedrooms are set up with king or queen size beds, the third has two double beds. Each also has a TV available.

The appliances looked quite new. The kitchen is well-stocked - well enough to allow you to easily cook up your own meals. The unit is probably fifty feet from a community grill, if you would prefer to grill your own steaks, chicken, fish, or burgers. We took advantage of the well-stocked kitchen and the nearby grill for the bulk of our meals.

The location is nearby a number of strip malls. It is easy to pick up any forgotten items, groceries, or beverages. The location is just a few minutes from the highway, and from a number of nearby restaurants.

The unit is a few minute walk to the swim pool and the onsite fitness center. The pool and hot-tub are right next to each other. The pool was well-maintained, a little chilly in March, but was still enjoyable for the adults and children.

This turned out to be a great find in a great location. I think the unit is great for a family, friends heading to Spring Training, buddies wanting to take in some golf, or a couple looking to get some sun in Arizona.

A+ I've been to Scottsdale 2x and stayed here. A very roomy 3 bdrm 2 bath condo with mountain and golf course views. Private, 1st floor entrance makes it more convenient. Shopping and restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. Pool/Jacuzzi and workout area a 5 minute walk across the complex. The owners, Char and Vic are great hosts and easy to work with in the rental process. A great experience!

Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Ideal Hideaway

We visited the Phoenix/Scottsdale area in early March to take advantage of the great weather and attend some of the MLB Cactus League Spring training games and softball games at Arizona State University (ASU). We found this vacation rental on Homeaway.com and found the entire reservation process made easy via our direct communication with the owners of the condo. Our vacation home was exactly as described on the Homeaway.com web site and located in a very quiet private community that is readily accessible from the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and conveniently located no more than 20 miles from several of the area ballparks including Hohokam Stadium in Mesa (the Cubs home field) and ASU. The condo was clean and nicely maintained. It was very nicely decorated and was furnished with everything we needed. We had a lovely unobstructed view of the mountains and the Golf course located right next to the grassy common area behind the community. The condo is within a mile of several strip malls that provide great shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants. We really enjoyed "The Kitchen, Market, and Wine Bar” located on Scottsdale Road only a 10 minute drive away and would recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal out. The community pool and exercise room is a 5-minute walk away and there is a walking trail right next to the condo behind the community for anyone looking for a longer walk. I would recommend the home to a friend or anyone looking for a 3-bedroom home in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit. We extend our thanks to the owners for making our stay an enjoyable experience.
