Within a short drive to Sundance ski resort, Deer Creek Reservoir and the attractions of Provo Canyon. Great place to stay while enjoying BYU sports, theatre, musical productions or visiting your kids at BYU. The house has a brand new kitchen and master bath to make your stay more enjoyable.

The house is in the Provo Historic District, within walking distance of downtown and BYU. Provo sits at the foot of the Wasatch mountains, an area featuring incredible skiing, canyons for great sight-seeing, places to rock-climb, and do all sorts of things. Provo is the 'Center' of Utah County, has a population of around 110,000, but is surrounded by other cities and towns. Sun dance ski resort is a short drive up Provo Canyon from the City.

Built in 1914 by a Swiss immigrants to Utah, the house features clinker brick, board and batten wainscoating, incredible woodwork, refinished oak and fir floors, wonderful plaster walls with great paint colors. It has many Swiss-style casement windows, built-in bookcases and other neat features. Enjoy its great front porch and the neat homes that surround it. New insulation and central air-conditioning provide for your summer comfort.

Enjoyed our stay very much
Beautiful home with hardwood floors, comfortable floor plan and pleasant colors. Much more airy and open than we expected ... the kitchen is beautifully and sunny in the morning! It's in a lovely quiet neighborhood too.
We loved it.

Very nice place

We stayed here in Oct when we came from MN to attend my daughter's wedding and this house was perfect for us. It's very comfortable and very well stocked with essentials. It was warm and in a very good location. Everything worked well, and it was easy to contact someone when we had questions. It was clean and neat. The listing was accurate and I would recommend this to anyone needing a place in Provo. Sure beats a hotel!

Comfortable and convenient

The house was quite comfortable, especially with the central air conditioning. There were lots of restaurants in the area as well as some good shopping opportunities. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

House was beautiful, clean and thanks to a new third air conditioner, reasonably comfortable. Neat street and nice neighbors--one gave us fresh vegetables.

Misrepresented

hot in utah Minnesota

This house is nice and the description very accurate. Where I feel we were mislead, is that we knew we were coming to Utah in July when it is hot, so we asked if there was air conditioning and were told that yes, there are window units that sufficiently cool off the house. There are 2 small window units, however, they do nothing to cool off most of the house. If you are not standing directly in front of one of these units, there is nothing like air conditioning in the house. If it is 100 degrees outside (and it was), it is 100 degrees inside. Very uncomfortable and disappointing.
