Villa Iolanda, dated 19th, century, is the main building of a working farming estate. It is surrounded by meadows, fields, woods, vineyards and olive trees, away from sound of traffic, located at the foothills of the northern slope of the 'Colline Lucchesi'. All carefully renewed with modern comfort but still maintaining the charm of a Villa with frescoes and 'cotto' floors. Shared swimming pool. BBQ. Ideal place for families or group and for children, no cars allowed in the property that is family owned since beginning of 19th century. The building is semi independent having one side attached to another building still of the same farming estate and owners but the garden, with private hot tube 'Jacuzzi',is all fenced and separate the home from the other buildings .

Located just minutes from the village of Marlia, 15 minutes drive from Lucca, famous in the world for the 'Walls', Versilia beach and Torre del Lago Puccini where the Puccini Opera is played during the summer season (40 minutes) as well as Pisa, 'Cinque Terre' crowded of small villages leaning against the mountain overlooking the Mediterranean see at less than one hour driving as well as Firenze, the Garfagnana region with it's beautiful mountain with a lot of hiking path and small fenced town and Carrara with it's famous marble cave and much more unknown sites that you will discover wandering around this beautiful Toscana. In July, there is a famous summer festival in Lucca. Many international singers will be there. The famous 'Ville Lucchesi', noble summer mansion with beautiful gardens is just a few minutes driving. You are only 3 1/2 hour driving from Rome, Milan or Venice.

Notes: Villa Iolanda is a two floor VillaI with it's own fenced garden with private whirpool and private garden. The swimming pool is shared. The Villa is dated around the end of the 19th century. It has frescoes in almost all the rooms, the original one piece marble sink in the kitchen and still maintains the old fashioned charm of an old mansion. We have improved the bathrooms and kitchen for a modern comfort.

Things to do: Besides sightseeing, Lucca offers cooking lessons, an Italian learning school, wine testing in the estate, and winery tours.

Golf: In the surroundings of Lucca there are many Golf Clubs located in Forte dei Marmi, Montecatini, Tirrenia and Florence. All of them can be reached in a 20/60 minutes drive.
