Photos and Description of this Luquillo holiday apartment Superb Panoramic Penthouse with View of the Atlantic Ocean!!

What a nice place to just relax... high at this 22rd floor penthouse, corner apartment with huge L-shaped balcony just feet from one of the most recognized beaches in the world. This three-building complex has on-site pool, tennis, and basketball courts, and a large community area. The apartment is very well kept with marble floors. There is broadband wireless Internet available. There is one bedroom with a KING size bed and there is another bedroom with two BUNK beds (ideal for 4 kids) but that sleeps only two adults. There are lots of windows, so watch for your hats! as it is very windy and fresh inside, no mugginess or sticky humidity... just a very cozy, comfortable place to enjoy some quietness, but at the same time all the amenities of being at home. Many times during summer, while at the balcony relaxing you will see seagulls flying so close to you that you can almost touch them!! Honestly the best location of all the apartments in the complex.

The apartment is located in one of Puerto Rico's top beaches Luquillo Beach. The area is also the home to one of the few tropical rain forest remaining in the world, El Yunque. The area is quickly becoming a preferred tourist area because it offers the tropical island feeling with all the amenities of modern living close by or on-site. The apartment has been recently refurbished, including new leather sofas, new solid wood bunk beds, Broadband Wireless Internet so bring your laptop!!!. There is a new washer and drier, new split unit Highly efficient and quiet air conditioning units. Two championship golf courses are within 15-20 minutes drive, located at the renowned El conquistador and Westin Rio Mar Hotels. Recreational area with tennis and basketball courts as well as swings for kids, and adult and kids pools. Gated parking with security cameras and bilingual personnel. All this under the security and protection of the USA laws and constitution as Puerto Rico is USA territory.

Parking: You will need to rent a car to arrive to the apartment. You will also need to buy a temporary parking permit, to park your rental car inside the complex. This will cost $20 dollars for the calendar month. This permit you can buy and pay the gate guard when you first arrive. If you rent in the transition from one month to the other (e.g. from Nov 29 to Dec 8) they will charge you another $20 dollars (even if you are staying 10 days in that transition) Yes ...we know... but those are the board of directors rules, we owners are working on that issue. If this happens to you I will assume the cost of at least one permit...please let me know....

Security Deposit: You will only be able to book and block your preferred dates from other potential renters by sending in a $250 security deposit. This deposit is fully refundable after your departure, if after an inspection of the apartment it is found to be in good conditions. Any major breakages will be deducted from this deposit. The security deposit is by sending a US Post office money order.

Driving directions/ Cancellation: Driving directions and other interesting information will be mailed to you before your arrival but only when e-mail contact and agreeing is made by you and me. If you cancel your rental 6 weeks before your initial request,It Is Very Important To Understand That I Will Keep The Security Deposit. Please understand that this is my only property for rent that I am not a hotel chain, and I turn down many requests to rent to your preferred dates. So It will be almost impossible for me to be able to book another rental in such a short time.

My wife and I and our two adult children stayed in Vanessa's penthouse apartment for 6 nights, and could have stayed much longer. It was very well furnished, well taken care of, and absolutely beautiful. While the weather was hot, we opened our windows and the wind kept the apartment cool. The view and the water were just like the pictures. Vanessa was very responsive to questions, and returned our security deposit promptly. This is a great bargain.

My only suggestion: give better directions. Turn left from Route 3 just past kilometer 36, then take first left and first right into Playa Azul, Tower 3.

Stayed in first week of Dec 2008- Enjoyed our stay in Vanessa's Penthouse very much. It was well appointed with everything you could think of and very comfortable. We felt very safe with the controlled access in Playa Azul. Security was always present. Ofcourse the best part was The view from the balcony!! It was AMAZING! and It took me maybe one MINTUE to get to the beach! I hope to be back next year.

This was a great place. The view was outstanding, and the house was gorgeous, and well kept up. We were central to a lot of things that we did, and it was very convenient. Absolutely loved the place!!

We stayed at this condo in Septemeber and loved it. It was recommended to us by my sister who had stayed there with her family in the Spring. It was a very well appointed apartment with all the comforts of home. The view was breathtaking making breakfast outside was our favorite part of the day. The crescent beach is right below and there are pool and beach supplies in the condo to use. It was a lovely place to stay...please take Vanessa's advice and use a GPS to get around with. Never once did we go astray with ours. The condo is close to a Wal-Mart, Walgreens and a grocery store right across the street for everything you need or forgot to bring. Please take time and visit The Cevichi Hut at the Laquillo beach kiosks. We unknowingly "crashed" the owners birthday party and we welcomed as guests and fed! That's friendly Puerto Rico!!! Stay at Vanessa's and come home feeling relaxed!!!
