Just 5 minutes from spectacular Whiteface Mountain, amid the high peaks of the Adirondacks and just 10 miles from Lake Placid, is this beautifully renovated lodge-style home. This unique 4 bedroom beauty is clean, new and captures the relaxed atmosphere of the Adirondacks. You will be delighted by the special details including hardwood and tiled floors throughout, custom kitchen, beautiful wood trim and stone fireplace. Wildlife viewing and hiking starts in the back yard! Situated on the side of a wooded hill, the ground floor features a beautiful great room with cathedral ceilings, large stone fireplace and picture windows overlooking the forest below, as well as kitchen/dining/laundry/storage areas and bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and an island bar seats four. Dining table comfortably seats 8. Additional sleeping accommodations (2 Queen Futons) in Great Room.

Spacious 4bdr near slopes

Great house with spacious living area. It was warm, with view of the forest, fairly close to slopes (much closer than Lake Placid properties). Only downside is that supermarket is far away (in Lake Placid), but there are 3 restaurants and small store close by. Easy access to 9N and i-87. Loved the place, will be back.
