This is a great condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for vacations and holidays. New Smyrna Beach is a small quiet community compared to many other vacation areas in Florida. But, you are not far from the action. This family friendly vacation condo is only 20 minutes from Daytona Beach, about 45 minutes from Orlando and Disney, and about 20 minutes north of The Space Coast and Kennedy Space Center. Just across the street from the beach, Oceanwalk is a new condominium community in New Smyrna Beach. The facilities include heated pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, weight room, exercise room, sauna, and more. Just south of the complex is the northern end of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Just north you can visit the Ponce De Leon Inlet Lighthouse and Museum (the tallest lighthouse in Florida). Located on the island are many local restaurants, cafes, and sandwich shops. Just minutes from this condo you will find everything needed for an enjoyable, relaxing visit to Florida.

Obviously there are the beaches, but beyond basking in the Florida sun on the beach there are many great activities around New Smyrna Beach. Backwater Fishing - the lagoon between the mainland and the island is home to many varieties of fish. Deep Sea Fishing - trips leave from Ponce Inlet daily. Golf - there are three 18-hole courses for the enthusiast as well as the casual golfer. Stock Car Racing - The New Smyrna Speedway is a half-mile stock car track with races every Saturday evening. Water Sports - this strip of coast line is one of the best in Florida for surfing. Thanks to a rock ledge about four miles off shore, this area has great wave breaks. Theater - The Atlantic Center for the Arts hosts theatrical performances, lectures and readings. The Little Theater hosts plays and musicals throughout the year. Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios are all just over an hour away. North is Daytona and Daytona International Speedway. Just to the south is the Kennedy Space Center.

All bedrooms include an alarm clock and ceiling fans. The third bedroom is set up with bunk beds for children. But, the bottom bunk is a double bed that will sleep two adults comfortably. Will allow more than seven guests if there are children - an inflatable, double mattress with linens will be provided.

Property Highlights: Property Highlights: across the street from the beach, covered parking (for one vehicle), heated outdoor pool, outdoor spa tub by pool, clubhouse with workout rooms; two shuffleboard courts, two tennis courts, basketball hoop, backs to wilderness area with walking paths.

The Area: Enjoy one of nature’s greatest attractions - the free beaches of New Smyrna. Our beaches are less crowded and more peaceful than most beaches in Florida. On the beaches you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, surfing, jet skiing, wind surfing, fishing, shell collecting, jogging, etc. The beach is car free on the south end of the island (the beach across from this condo is car free). On the north end of the island, you may drive you vehicles on the beach when tides permit. Ponce Inlet Lighthouse: The lighthouse can be seen from the beach on the north end of the island and is worth the short drive for a visit. This is the tallest lighthouse in Florida and is still in operation today. This area has a very interesting history. There are great places to explore up and down the cost... the oldest city in the US, St. Augustine is a nice day trip to the north.

Central Florida: About an hour west is Orlando and the most famous attractions in Florida - the theme parks. Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios are all just over an hour from New Smyrna Beach. To the north of New Smyrna Beach is Daytona and Daytona International Speedway. Just to the south is the Kennedy Space Center and the famous Cocoa Beach area. If you enjoy the outdoors, Central Florida has many state parks that are an easy drive from New Smyrna Beach. And the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is just a few miles south of the condo.

Liked the wide open space, it was very roomy. Great for entertaining. Wish the 3rd bedroom had twins instead of a bunk. ( A little hard for us old folks to manage.) The view was gorgeous, and we liked the security features. We had a great time and would go back. It would be expecially great for anyone with kids. Tried several restaurants close by, they were very good. Also, what great people to work with, we would highly recommend this property.

Nice large open spaces with plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the gorgeous views on New Smyrna Beach. Enjoyed a weekend getaway with family and recommend this condo.

We felt like we were at home. I had my 3 kids with me. They had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. We will recomened this to everyone. Best vacation we have had in a long time.
