First of all dealing with John and Alex was a pleasure. For the last couple years our family has gathered in Bethany for Christmas, Easter, once in the summer and then fall. I was ready to give up the planning as my experience with realtors had been a negative one. John immediately returned my emails and called and was so very friendly. It was a pleasure making the arrangements.
We were not disappointed with the accomodations. We had family from several locales in PA, my 81 year old father, 76 year old mother from Myrtle Beach, nephew and family from MD, and sister and family from VA. The house was the perfect size as some family came and left and others came. The house is charming, nicely decorated, bright and cheery. The main room was perfect for us all to gather.
We are a family of cooks and love preparing meals and eating together. With other properties we have rented we did not always have a well equipped kitchen. Finally, a house that had everything we needed and much we didn't even get to use. The house layout was perfect. My 4 year old great-nephew loved the tv room on the 2nd floor. He had me watching Nemo and Willy Wonka until I can recite them both.
We had an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this property. We will be back soon. Thanks to John and Alex for making their home available off season.
