Gubbio is waiting for you with its medieval palaces, its churches which date from the pre-Roman era to the end of the fiftheenth century, with its museums and its shops and stands, selling local crafts and foods.. Exciting folklore, artistic and cultural events take place from May to November: local festivals (the Festa dei Ceri, 15 May, the National Crossbow competition, the last Sunday of May and the Regional Crossbow competition, 14 August); the music and theatre seasons ( in July and August ); the Truffle fair (starting the 1st of November) and the Antiques Market (held on the third week of every month).

The National Exhibition Market of white truffle:
The National Exhibition Market of the white truffle and of the agro-alimentary products, organized by the Mountain Community of the High Chiascio, is an appointment of absolute importance among the autumn events, on one side for the extraordinary quality of the local white truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico) and of the other exquisite food present in the exhibition areas (cheeses of pasturing, salami, selected meats, extra virgin olive oil, honey, traditional sweets, etc..), and on the other side for the prestigious location in the heart of the historic centre of Gubbio.
For the occasion is also set up an exhibition of a selection of pieces coming from the local artistic handicraft (ceramics, wrought steel, embroidery, wood, leather, stucco…) and it is possible to obtain a special philatelic canceling representing the logo of the event.
