The best locations in Niguel Beach Terrace this two bedroom, two full bath ocean view condo is a 1 minute walk to the entry to Salt Creek (Dana) Strands Beach. The 'Lighthouse' has undergone complete renovation featuring maritime and nautical themes, a color scheme of sand, beige, cream and blue, all new furnishings and furniture, and porcelain tiled patios. Niguel Beach Terrace is located between Laguna Beach and Dana Point Harbor in the California Riviera, and is on the ocean side of Pacific Coast Highway in the Monarch Beach area. An easy walk to Starbucks, the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis Resort, public library, and a commercial center. Ocean view from the living room, guest bedroom and one of the large patios. Living room features an electric fireplace, queen size sofa bed and a 42' LCD flat screen HD TV. Two large tiled private patios; one with an ocean view and the other with a picnic area and George Foreman electric BBQ. Bright, airy, open, ground floor unit open to ocean breezes.

  • Each is a full size bathroom with the shower/tub separate from the vanity in the master bathroom. Both bathrooms have towel racks and hooks to easily accommodate 6 people.

Both bedrooms are located off of different tiled patios. The two bedrooms have a 37inch and a 32inch flat screen TV located in the middle section of the mirrored closets that feature triple tracks for easy clothing and TV access. Each bedroom has two cherry wood luggage stands along with quilt racks.

Notes: Cooled by ocean breezes and hunter fans the location of the Lighthouse cannot be beat. With a southwesterly exposure there is morning sun on the east patio and afternoon sun on the west patio. A bright, light and cheerful end unit everything is new in the Lighthouse from baseboards, registers, fans, appliances, tile, countertops in kitchen, appliances and carpeting. Tom and Vonne Barnes are the well-traveled (87 countries) owner/managers of the Lighthouse who have used their knowledge and experience to create an ideal destination vacation. Their credo is like pitching coins into the Trevi Fountain in Rome once you experience a stay at the Lighthouse you will return for another visit in the future. All locations are not alike and the Lighthouse is located in the best location in Niguel Beach Terrace: a quiet area on greenbelts; does not face the parking lot as many units do; is off the street of Selva; and is closest to the beach. Payment is by Visa, Master Card, or Pay Pal.

A fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances features a microwave, ice-maker, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock- pot, espresso machine, waffle maker, dishes, silverware and pots and pans. Cooled by ocean breezes and 52' Hunter ceiling fans in the living room, both bedrooms and the dining room, the Lighthouse has a mild, temperate climate all year around. Three new flat screen (a 42' and two 37' cable televisions each with DVD/VCR player with one TV featuring high definition (HD) and a DVR (Tivo) recording function enable all guests to enjoy the programs of their choice from the living room and both bedrooms. The master suite features an office area with an antique cherry wood desk, a new computer and high-speed cable internet (broadband). The extra long twin beds (can be made into a king by request) in the guest bedroom, which is large enough to be a second master bedroom. A queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room can accommodate up to two extra guests.

For your convenience and comfort the following are provided - Washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board; Four cherry wood suitcase stands; Fine linens and plush towels; Six beach towels and a beach umbrella; Four beach chairs and two Boogie boards; Two beach coolers; Two hair dryers; Selected DVDs and VCRs; Library stocked with books; Reserved covered parking space #24 and guest parking is available in the complex and on Selva road. A pool and spa are a short walk away with another spa closer to the Lighthouse. Weekly vacation rental rates are from 4:00 PM Saturday until 11:00 AM the following Saturday: Absolutely No Smoking and No Pets

Very high level of furnishing.
Many extra thoughtful touches.
Excellently provisioned and maintained.
Very good location - near enough to get to Los Angeles easily but far enough away not to be in the city.
Eexcellent communication from owners and care that we had a good time, with no problems.

Wow what a lovely place! Clean well maintained and a location to die for! The best bit was the extra touches like shower Gel and coffee etc, nothing was left out! a real home from home! Close to a most excellent beach with sunsets across the Pacific! We went Whale watching and had a "BBQ" every night on the patio under the stars. No problems for us but if we had, then i am certain that Tom & Vonne would have quickly fixed them! Cant recommend this place highly enough! Martin & Family Cheshire UK

We had a nice vacation time in the lighthouse condo in July 2009. The condo is very nice and Tom and Vonne has the place very well organized. The Condo is very recommendable.

What a great vacation home! Description was accurate,property was clean and well maintained. Tom and Vonne provided exceptional customer service. Nice quite area highly recommended for families, and those with children. Everything you could want or need was provided. The master bed is incredibly comfortable!! Thanks for a great experience at Dana Point.

Piecefull but close to active beach life

Lighthouse is furnished perfectly for elderly as well as small young families. You seldom see European quality TV-picture in N-A but here it is as well as the selection of entertainment. The beds are very good to sleep and kitchen is well equipped; even teflon pans are unscratched (usually crap in rental properties). Location is piesfully ideal but only a few miles from selection of vacation services at vamous beaches.
The resort swimming pool was under repair and we lost our usual wakeup swim. Tom and Vonne match this by a temporary membership in the near-by tennis club and did their best keep us satisfied in all respects.
For golfers: avoid Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course; it is crap in all respects. Play Tijeras Creek, nice and interting course with good and friendly service. Of course Monarch Beach Golf Links is classy but affortable only at twilight. Try also Redhawk in Temecula.
All in all we felt ourselves very much at home in frienly Lighthouse.
