Modern Ski Chalet on beautiful Star Lake in Belmont, VT - 10 Minutes form Okemo Ski Resort and 25 minutes from Killington Ski Resort - Great skating and cross country skiing from chalet, on and around Star Lake - Rental includes central heating, wood stove with hearth, master bath has jacuzzi tub, modern kitchen, washer/dryer VCR/Satellite on both floors. Lower floor has recreation/game room with convertible sofas and extra roll out bed if used as separate guest room. 5 minutes from country store with deli and gourmet take out dinners ! really !!

Positive: House very clean & tidy. Owner responsive. Nice location. Well equipped kitchen. Overall a very nice stay.

Negative: Table Tennis Table is tiny one for small kids. This was one of the reasons we chose this property as the kids love to play & they were extremely disappointed with this. Also kayak actually seemed to belong to next door causing problems. Water frontage for this property is actually very small as the majority is inaccessable.

Late summer in Belmont VT on the lake

Vacationed for 2 weeks at end of summer. This was a delightful home: clean and well-maintained with beautiful small lake views from the livingroom/kitchen with deck.Linens provided, internet access, Many hours spent enjoying the views from the deck and dock.Row boat provided.. Lake not so great for swimming in my opinion. Set conveniently in small town w/ general store and farmer's market. Good location for access to southern and central VT; close to Okema and Ludlow, close also to Weston, Bromley, and many great hikes, parks. One hour's drive to Brattleboro, Bennington etc. Owner was very responsive.
