The spacious backyard is surrounded by an aesthetically pleasing tall privacy wall and has a lawn and beautifully planted desertscape gardens for a resort like feel. South facing exposure enables full east to west sunshine at the pool throughout the day, as well as spectacular views of the San Jacinto mountains. You'll enjoy sunbathing poolside while you gaze in awe at the mountains sometimes covered in snow, just so you'll remember how lucky you are! 42' LCD TV, DVD in living room. Very fun house!

We stayed at this house last week and really liked it. Everything was as presented in the ad, actually even nicer than in the pictures. We liked the privacy of the yard and pool area. The whole house seemed well maintained and amenities offered everything we needed. I also feel this home offers great value compared to other houses I've stayed at in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Palm Springs Getaway

This was our 3rd time at Alexander Classic Palm Springs Pool House. We love it! We have been in the winter, spring, and summertime, and have always thoroughly enjoyed our stays.

The location is great, close to downtown yet quiet. The sun "sets" about an hour early in Palm Springs if you're anywhere near downtown due to the mountains to the west (areas to the east may have a little later sunset but they're less desirable areas and too far from downtown for us).

The backyard is really nice...new, always clean pool is very private and has lots of sun all day with nice mountain views. I would say the spa is large, very private and relaxing. Both pool & spa have always been well maintained for us, and the new patios sharp looking too. Feels like your own private resort!

The furniture is mostly new or near new and very comfortable. The ice & water dispenser always worked fine for us, and we appreciate the extra bags of fesh ice in the freezer that Terry provided, very thoughtful. A lot of care is evident in the restoration of this lovely mid century butterfly home. The high ceilings, clerstory windows, and crisp decor make it airy, cheery, very inviting and comfortable.

We always spend a lot of time at the pool, and love going to the nearby Spa Casino for entertainment and great priced dining. We love walking on Palm Canyon Drive and the people are very friendly and the shopping goes on for miles. We also like bike riding around the neighborhood, very pleasant. The mountain tram is a lot of fun and we like hiking up there in the summertime. The golf courses nearby are well run and affordable, and the water park is great to cool off in the summertime.

Kudos to Terry for running a nice, reliable, well equipped rental that has made our stays in Palm Springs so comfortable and enjoyable! We have always felt it is a great value and we'll definitely be back. Cheers!

pretty average

The house did the job for six of us - golfers and shoppers. The location is great if you want to do downtown lots. Only problem with the location was too close to the mountains and the sun was gone at 4pm.
I thought the price was a little high once we saw it. It is pretty much like the pictures except a lot of furniture is getting run down, beds weren't great, but okay. The ice maker and cold water dispenser in the fridge did not work. We even told him what he needed to buy to fix it as we just did ours. He brought ice for us once anyway. The BBQ didn't work but a phone call and he was there the next morning to fix.
The hot tub is not really large- just a six man. It wouldn't stay hot so I read instructions and took it off economy mode- which then worked great- but took 5 days to figure that out. Maybe it should have been done before we got there. Pool maintenance was only done once that we know of, but pool is very nice. We really enjoyed the patio and yard- great off the kitchen. More Tv's would be nice- one in each room and they are small and old. We all thought that for the price a little more upgrading and care should be done. There was lots of towels and everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, so that is taken care of. I did book in Aug. for 1st two weeks of Feb, then after flights were confirmed I told the company our exact dates and no way they would give us back two nights rental that we werent' there, which I thought was a little gready.
