Relax and rejuvenate in this rambling 1800’s farmhouse. The refurbished house retains charming original features - bead board butler’s pantry, tin ceilings, nooks and crannies for the kids to explore. Gather the group together in the large dining room or great room. Escape to your own private spot on the sun porch or patio. Of course, you’ll love the field path down to the ocean shore! The master bedroom has king bed, pine floors, and bath with walk-in shower. The queen bedroom has skylights and a separate entrance. The oldest wing of the house has 2 bedrooms with full beds, 1 bedroom with 3/4 bed, and a second full bath. The first floor has a newly appointed kitchen, original butler’s pantry, laundry room, coat room, sun porch, dining room, and great room. There is also an office equipped with high speed Internet and free long distance phone service. View of the ocean from nearly every room! You are going to Love this house!

Beach roses, wild iris, and beach peas line the pristine shoreline. You will find sand beaches, bold coastal cliffs, coastal rain forest, and wildflower meadows here. Three state parks, a national park, national wildlife refuge, and several nature preserves all provide a variety of hiking trails. Local whale and puffin tours offer the chance to observe nature up close. Learn about local culture and ecology on the shoreline and history tours. The area is rich in history—the first naval battle of the Revolution was fought in nearby Machiasport. Maine's own 'Cannery Row' lined the waterfronts of Lubec and Eastport with sardine canning factories and herring smoke houses. My family spent a week at Ocean Breezes and had a wonderful time. This is our 6th year vacationing in Lubec The house is large and spacious with lots of room for everyone. The house is tastefully decorated and in a wonderful location. The cove across the street has 4-6 working lobster boats moored there and although we did not try I'm sure you can talk to the lobstermen and buy lobsters when they come in at the end of the day. We saw lots of birds around the property and seals frolicking and feeding in the cove.
There is lots of things to do in the area and we recommend Boot Cove trail as well as Hamilton Cove for exploring. Both are located within 5 minutes of the house. West Quoddy has some wonderful views and trails for hiking as well.
