Location: This remodeled year round home is a short walk to the waterfront of historic Lake Champlain. All water sports are available here supported by a marina close by. Watch the sunset over Lake Placid, N.Y.! From the City of Vergennes, VT Take Route 7 north 4 miles to North Ferrisburg village, turn left on Stage Road ( west ) go 1 mile, take a left at stop sign, then an immediate right on Long Point Road. Continue 2 miles west on Long Point Road into the Long Point Corporation ( sign ). When you pass the tennis court on the right, make a right onto Bay Road. Continue through the trees and pull into 388 Bay Road. Coming from the north (Burlington), go 20 miles south on US Route 7 and take a right on Stage Road in North Ferrisburg Village. Key landmark is the Mobil Short Stop on the corner of U.S. Rte 7 and Stage Road.Go 1 mile on Stage Rd, turn left at stop sign. Make immediate right onto Long Point Rd.Continue west 2 miles on Long Point Rd. Turn right on Bay Rd.

  • $50.00 cleaning fee only charged on short reservations less than three nights.
  • Check in 4 PM on 1st day and check out 11 AM of last day for all rentals.

    Deposits-30% of rental fee due at reservation.
    Security deposit of $350 is authorized by the guest, but not charged to your credit card.

    Security Deposit cleared in full on final day after home inspection.

    Refunds-If you cancel within 90 days of your reservation we will refund your deposit in full providing we can re-rent. If you cancel less then 90 days before your reservation, your deposit cannot be refunded.

  • The main floor bath is a very large full bath with a tub shower located adjacent the 1st floor bedroom. The second floor bath is shared by Master and Guest bedrooms. Both have been repainted and serviced. With basic amenities provided. All towels are provided for your vacation convenience. Starter amenities such as shampoo, hand soap etc provided.

  • The master bedroom has a Caribbean Queen bed, and a davenport couch pull out full bed ,with large closets and cathedral ceilings. This is a wonder romantic getaway! The second upstairs bedroom has an Ethan Allen queen bed and shares a 2nd floor bathroom. The main floor bedroom has two twin beds and is next to a full bathroom. Ideal for elderly guests! The den is in the back of the house putting some quiet distance between children and adults. It is set up with DVD player and satellite TV. The home was completely repainted in '06 and has a fresh, airy, comfortable feel. All linens and towels are provided. Basic starter supplies are there for your arrival. Sleeps 6 privately in three bedrooms, Children and quests can use the reading room or pull out couch in the Master Bedroom.

Notes: You can walk right to the water without steps, rare to southern Lake Champlain properties. Bring your own boat as we do have a 250lb mushroom mooring available. Boat rentals are available at Marine Plus,Inc, three miles from the house. Call 802-425-5551,ask for Paul or Jeff. Tandem kayak available to our guests. Dee's Lake House is situated in private association, ideal for walking, bicycling, hiking. Long Point Bay is ideal for swimming with a shallow grade out to deep water. Bring your water shoes or Teva sandals. Jet skis, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, sailboats ,floating raft, inner tubes etc... can all be used in the open lake. Quiet and private for a small group, open and sprawling for large groups.

Ski: We are close to five major ski areas. Whiteface, NY., Bolton Valley, VT, Smugglers Notch, VT, Stowe, VT, and Sugarbush, VT. Come enjoy the winter with the fireplace to come home to after a long day of skiing! Build snowmen with the kids go sledding enjoy some Great ice fishing on the lake! We have both cross country skiing and snowshoeing from our door. All winter sports can be enjoyed here. This winter we had snow from November-April! 200'

Golf: Golf courses within 15 minutes. Basin Harbor Club is the most well known. Five other courses close by.

winter vacation surprise!

Rented this lake home for a surprise for my wife's birthday. some of our close friends came to! It was great, plenty of room we enjoyed our weekend here celebrating my wife's 40th. The masterbedroom was terrific! the whole home was larger than we thought, we enjoyed the area, views, and snow! Would like to visit in the summer or Fall. All in all is was a great winter getaway in a very nice home. We would come back again for another winter getaway and hopefully a week long vacation in the future. Brent
