Heavens Door is located only 2 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway but you feel like many more miles away. Heavens Door is surrounded by peace and quiet. If you don't want to spend your vacation in a 'subdivision' surrounded by other cabins Heavens Door is the right cabin for you. The access is easy, the convenience is great, but the setting helps you get away from it all. Heavens Door is a large one level cabin, no steps to get into the cabin and no steps inside. It has all the conveniences of home and more with a hot tub, big screen TV, and pool table in a separate game room. My wife Terry and I personally take care of our cabin and personally inspect it before our guests arrive. Whether your interests are shopping, horseback riding, hiking, theatre shows, or anything else Heavens Door will be conveniently located for you. To see our guests testimonials go to our web site. We are in the Smoky Mountain region which is the most heavily visited national park in the U.S. About 10 million visitors a year come here because of the amazing wildlife and scenic beauty. The weather is quite moderate all year round and the tourist attractions are to numerous to mention. They include Dollywood, Splash Country, Ripleys Aquarium, The Miracle Theatre, Wonderworks, and many many more. The amount of activities available is also endless. Whitewater rafting, horseback riding, ATV trails, shopping, antiques, music theatres galore, hiking, fly-fishing, little children's fishing in trout stocked streams, etc.. The activities are endless and our cabin is convenient to everything. Heavens Door is the best of both worlds, convenient but quiet and private.

The cabin had everything it stated and more (very peaceful setting). We had 3 children (Ages 10, 8 and 5), my mom who has some disabilities, our dog and of course my husband and I. There was plenty of room.

The property was very clean and the Owners were quite gracious. They left us a holiday gift and they were very attentive, when we had to call for garbage pickup. Otherwise, they left us alone up on the mountain.

I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone.

The only drawback to the cabin (which the owners cannot control) was the "Parkway" in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. During holidays, it is very crowded so be prepared to sit in traffic.

If you have children, Wonderworks is a wonderful attraction. You can go early and stay all day! If you like horseback riding, I would recommend Five Oaks Riding Stables. Both places are located right off the Parkway.

We hope to visit this cabin again in the Summer. To the Owners, thank you for the wonderful stay.
