Quiet and Private

The apartment is in a great location, though difficult to get to by train/metro if you have a lot of luggage. We enjoyed the neighborhood, cafes, etc. but the apartment has no cable, no balcony/windows to the outside, and was not stocked (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.). It also has a very narrow staircase and is 2 stories up - not a problem at all for us, but some people may have trouble with the climb. If you are looking for a quiet, out of the city feel inside, but close location to get around Paris outside, this is perfect. The property was clean and well maintained. The property owner and guardienne were very helpful and easy to work with. Lisette even provided a binder in the apartment with travel recommendations and thoughts on restaurants and markets in the area. I would recommend this apartment to someone looking to be in the Trocadero neighborhood on a slightly lower budget than some of the more extravagent properties.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Indeed as you and many previous guests have commented, we are fortunate to be so close to all the main tourist attractions which can be easily reached on foot, such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and the river Seine plus many cafes and restaurants. As with anywhere in Paris, it is difficult to take the train when travelling with lots of luggage from the airport, which is why some guests prefer to use the airport shuttle or a taxi.
Two sets of large double windows look onto a quiet courtyard planted with trees and bushes rather than onto the busy, noisy roads. This also makes it more pleasant to sleep at night. Few apartments in central Paris have balconies. We always provide the first toilet rolls and basic supplies (salt, pepper, soap, washing liquid etc.) after which guests prefer to purchase their own from the nearby shops.
As you mention we try to keep our rates as low as possible for such a prestigious apartment in one of the most sought after locations of Paris. We look forward to receiving you again.
