Ecoute ton Coeur, ( Listening Heart ) is an exquisite villa that has recently been renovated using the finest materials. Set just above the ocean surf at Point Milou. The villa faces North West, offering fantastic sunsets. The living area opens to the pool and magnificent ocean view. The rear of the villa has a covered terrace with large wooden day beds with lots of colorful throw cushions, a fountain and palm trees. The salon is open, furnished with custom designed mahogany and teak furnishings & antiques. The gourmet kitchen is a mixture of stainless steel, wood and black stone. The two bedroom suites are the same size. Furniture is all hand crafted. The ensuite bathrooms are done in Italian glass tiles that reflect every color of the rainbow and each have enormous overhead chrome shower heads. An elegant, comfortable and charming villa.

Location, Location, Location... What a view!!

What a perfect spot for a honeymoon. So private, yet a short drive to everything. The photos can't tell you how great the view is, you have to experience it yourself, preferably from the pool!

We had a wonderful time. It's a gorgeous place and I'd would not be hesitant to say that it had the best view on the island. The pool was amazing. Your staff was exceptional and handled everything perfectly. Guillame, in particular, was stellar, he was so attentive. The maid was also very good and polite.

A special thanks to Guillame for sorting out the refrigerator within a few hours of my request, because after he fixed it, it worked flawlessly. Ice cold. In hot climate like this, you want your wine COLD. All the lovely Bandols we had thank you.

We have traveled extensively all over the world, and usually don't go to places multiple times as there are so many places to see, however, we may have to make an exception with this place. We came back calm and relaxed, which is a exceptionally valuable thing for people who live hectic lives. To be able to cook a meal with fabulous French ingredients and sit by the pool with some nice French wine, yet be in the Caribbean was welcome escape.

Thank you for a wonderful place, I have a feeling we'll be back but with friends next time!

PICTURE PERFECT HONEYMOON!!!

My husband and I got married in July 2009, and this is where we got to spend our honeymoon. We both haven't had the opportunity to travel much yet, but I am certain that St. Barts (and this villa) will be one of the most beautiful places we ever visit. If you think the pictures on this website are breathtaking, just wait until you see it in person. I honestly am speechless as I try to think of words to describe our experience. This villa has EVERYTHING. When Michael tells you that you just need your bathing suit, he is not kidding. I was a little nervous renting a villa for our honeymoon, but Michael was there to make sure that our experience was nothing less than perfect. I cannot wait to return to this little piece of paradise one day. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me!

The Vacation Spot that You Dream Of Finding...

Have you ever looked for that one special place to vacation? The one of sunsets you've seen in magazines, furnished in style and in a place where you can either go out on the town and enjoy gourmet foods or stay in and cook in a gourmet kitchen and just take in the view? THIS IS YOUR PLACE. I looked and looked for that special place to spend a special occasion and was not disappointed. 'Ecoute ton Coeur' is named so appropriately. It awakens something we lose in the day-to-day life of work at home. The home is lacking nothing and is the perfect place to get away for a romantic trip or a vacation with close friends. We hadn't even arrived home and we have been trying to plan a return to this piece of paradise soon.
We've both traveled extensively both throughout the caribbean and around the world and this is one of our favorite finds to date. You won't be disappointed. Don't miss the opportunity to spoil yourself and enjoy this slice of heaven. There were nights we stayed in, sipped champagne while enjoying an incredible sunset while floating in the pool, and other nights we enjoyed incredible meals on the island. On one night, we even had a chef come in and cook for us. Why anyone would even consider a luxury hotel over this type of experience is beyond me. Once you try it - you'll be hooked! Our hosts were extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants to local chefs, to pretty much anything we asked. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions if you're still on the fence....I can't adequately express in words just how wonderful this place is..................

Wonderful!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to get away from living in a busy city. Renting Michael's villa certainly did the trick. It was beautiful! The furnishing, pool, location, etc...we cant say enough about how perfect it was. I would totally recommend it and hope to be back next year!!!

Our First Stay at the Villa

This was our first trip to St Bart's as well as first experience renting a villa (vs staying at a hotel/resort). The experience was excellent and we would do it again.
The description of the Villa on the website and teh amenities described were very accurate. The property was in a great location (at the end of the street with only Villa beyond the location, so there is considerable privacy). Everything was clean and very well maintained. The electronics were great (TV and stereo) and the Wifi worked well. The property maintenance was available as needed and were prompt and efficient.
The location was 5 minutes from St Jean and 15 minutes from Gustavia (the main port city). I would recommend the property to a friend and plan on staying there again in the future.
