Enjoy the sandy shores of Paradox Lake and it's superb water quality. Private dock and boat slip for your motor boat. Don't forget your fishing gear! Take some time to explore the Adirondacks by biking, hiking, mountain climbing or golf and shop in the nearby quaint historic towns of Schroon or Ticonderoga. Relaxing Lakefront Vacation

I don't think I'll ever forget sitting on the dock watching the sun set over the mountains and the reflecting in the perfectly smooth water.

I can't say enough about our week at Lake Paradox last summer. We launched our boat at the state boat launch down the road at the beginning of the week and spent almost every day out on the water wakeboarding. At night we BBQ on the huge deck. I didn't ever want to leave - so relaxing!

As for the house - it is huge and incredibly well cared for. I'm definitely going back!

Luxury Stay in a Beautiful Location

Our vacation in this house on Lake Paradox was wonderful! The house is impeccably cared for and was spotless when we arrived. All the appliances worked flawlessly, and the huge kitchen was a treat!

The house sits just off the lake, and has two large balconies with gorgeous views. Just beyond the grassy back yard is a sandy beach, complete with a dock and float. You could walk right out the back door and into the water, and it was wonderful to be able to watch the kids from the kitchen/balcony while they swam.

We were so comfortable at the house, we only left two days--once to spend the day at Lake Placid, and once to go hiking. It's about an hour drive to Lake Placid or the high peaks (where we hiked), but we later realized that there were trails within a 10 minute drive from the house.

All in all, I would highly recommend this rental for a family get-away in the country!
