  • Master bedroom has a full wall mirror that reflects the ocean from both sets of windows. Both bedrooms open onto a ocean-side balcony. Great for coffee in the morning or reading and listening to the surf! Ocean can be seen and heard from both bedrooms - wonderful views of the coastline and wonderful sounds of the waves crashing on the rocky coastline. Houses across the street that are on the ocean are only 3 stories tall and we are on the 4th floor giving incredible views of the ocean from both bedrooms and the rooftop garden.

General Information: The nearby beach is a wonderful place for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. We offer two bicycles to make getting around the marina area more convenient. Everything is 5 to 10 minutes away by foot and faster by bike. Cars are not needed once you arrive in Puerto Aventuras - everything is a short walk. Puerto Aventuras has several beautiful beaches and snorkeling at the on-site reef. Puerto Aventuras is close to Playa del Carmen, the Mayan ruins of Tulum and Coba - all a short taxi drive away. A little further are Cozumel, Cancun and Chichen Itza. The Omni and Dreams hotels both offer day/week passes for the use of their facilities. Puerto Aventuras is one hour south of the Cancun airport. There are many choices for transportation to/from the airport - bus, taxi, collectivo van, rental car, hired car. We can provide additional information to you if interested. Airport: Cancun Distance: 60 minutes

Golf: Nine hole golf course is available within Puerto Aventuras. Many other golf courses within 30 minutes of Puerto Aventuras (mayakoba, Playacar, etc..).

We spent two weeks in January in the penthouse. It was a wonderful experience. We could enjoy the morning and afternoon sun and the midnight stars from the rooftop deck. Then, we enjoyed the late afternoon sun on the balcony outside the living/dining room. The pool was impeccable. Often, we were the only people using the pool, so it felt very private. We experienced a couple of cooler days, and therefore really appreciated the hot tub. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

A little piece of heaven! What isn't great about Casa Allegria? Stunning views, trendy yet peaceful decor, and a wonderful little town of adventure. Imagine waking up everyday and taking your breakfast to the roof top to watch the sunrise. Incredible! You will love walking around town, waving hello to Alexia, the new baby dolphin, and relaxing on the porch. Of course, falling asleep to the ocean waves and breeze wasn't to shabby either!

Can't wait to go back and visit the nearby ruins in Tulum.

You will love it here!

I spent the month of february at Casa Alegria and it was a very pleasant experience. I knew immediately when I walked in that I had made the right choice. The penthouse was as advertised. It is bright and airy, very nicely furnished with great views from both decks and the rooftop. It is well stocked so that we could prepare and serve any meal. The bedrooms are large and comfortable each with great bathrooms, great views and at night we could hear the surf and feel the breeze. We seldom used the air conditioning. The front deck was my retreat. Out there I read for hours, dined and watch the sights on the marina. Family and friends who visited off and on thought the rooftop was wonderful. There they lay in the sun and at night we had a drink and enjoyed the breezes and the sunsets. We found that we had the large pool to ourselves most of the time. Puerto Aventuras itself has many interesting features and we met many interesting people. It is a short drive to any number of place worth the visit. The owners and their management people were very helpful in making my visit so pleasant and for that I want to thank them. See you next year!!! Ed McParlan

If you are looking for a fabulous place to stay in Mexico - LOOK NO FURTHER!! We just returned from Casa Alegre - and it was more spectacular than the pictures indicate! The only thing between the condo and the ocean is a row of multi-million dollar single family homes. The condo is situated on a beautiful street just between the ocean and marina...which allows for refrshing ocean breezes through the condo (or, if you prefer AC, they worked great and had individual controls in each bedroom!).

This was our first trip with our 2.5 year old and 8 month old girls. We had only visited Mexico on cruises, so I was a little nervous (the fear of the unknown!) -- but was up for adventure! The trip from the Cancun airport was so much simpler and comfortable than I could have even imagined. We used CancunTransfers who had a new, clean van, spoke great English and brought car seats and played a Disney DVD for the girls! I wouldn't even hesitate to rent a car and drive either. The drive was a straight shot down a 4 lane road.

It was so easy to stop and shop in Playa del Carmen on the drive down -- and we fell in love with many local products -- that are so much better than the US counterparts (salsa and anything with sugar instead of corn syrup!).

Puerto Adventuras (PA) is a great little community -- everyone is so friendly. It seemed so safe (even at night) to walk around. There were a lot of great things to see/do/eat!

We purchased day passes at an all-inclusive resort that is literally a 2 minute walk away. It was so nice to and be able to experience the fun "beach club" atmosphere, then be able to return to our comfortable, spacious accommodations of Casa Alegre. (instead of a cramped hotel room!).

Casa Alegre is SO well maintained and clean...even to the mom of a crawling baby...who will pick up and try to eat everyting in her path!

Our 2 1/2 year old sat in front of the condo and cried and cried when we had to leave....she's been talking constantly about going back to "her house by the beach in Mexico".....we can't wait to return!
