RESERVE FOR SUMMER NOW. The house is fairly new to the vacation market (third year), so in-demand dates are now available for late planners. There are four sets of glass French doors, large windows and large covered porch, one screened porch, second floor balcony, all access beautiful views. Very good quality beds for a good night's sleep. This unique northwoods house sits on 9 acres of mature oak and maple woods, has 450 feet of waterfront on a quiet, private small lake that is well suited for canoeing, canoe provided. From the dock one finds wildlife viewing possibilities. When more excitement is desired, it's ten minutes to clear Shell Lake, the largest spring-fed lake in Wisconsin for motor sports, sailing, a beautiful beach or incredible fishing for the best game fish. Good area bicycling. The house has CD player, DVD/TV.

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I spent a long weekend in October at the cabin. When we walked into the cabin, we felt right "at home." We had a wonderful time relaxing, enjoying nature and the beauty of the outdoors. The cabin itself is very lovely. The amenities were great, especially the heated floors in the lower level. The view from the top floor, where we spent a lot of time reading, playing games and resting, were magnificent. Canoeing around the lake was beautiful. Watching flocks of geese take off and land was a sight to be seen. I would recommend this cabin for any couple who wants to have a nice, quiet, relaxing weekend getaway. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.

My wife and three children (ages 5 and 11 months) just came home from spending the week at this rental property. We enjoyed the privacy throughout the week and the ability to spend quality time with my family. The 23 acre lake provided us the opportunity to catch plenty of fish, view the loons and bald eagles and canoe. The cabin is minutes from Shell Lake. We were able to take our children to the local library for a program about "Bugs". We spent time on the sandy beach on Shell Lake. On a day trip to Spooner, we went to a state fish hatchery, go kart track and played a game of miniature golf. My wife and I would share a cup of coffee on the porch before the kids would wake up in the morning (the cabin has three porches: two open and one screened). The second story of the cabin is open and is a great place to read a book or enjoy a movie. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed every meal around the table or around the campfire. We really enjoyed our week and would recommend this rental to family and friends.
