Great location!: Aqua Terra's great location is only blocks to Playa’s most beautiful beaches, Mamitas Beach and Shangri•La Beach, and to the famous Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). You have nearly immediate access to Playa del Carmen's best shopping, dining, and lively scene, but you are far enough away to maintain the serenity of your surroundings. Additionally you are close to the 30th Avenue, which has more traditional local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The Cancun International Airport is only about 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen (30 miles). Playa has a small airport that mainly has service to Cozumel and some Mayan ruins, like Chichén Itzá and Palenque. There is also an international airport in Cozumel, from which it's easy to get to Playa del Carmen via Ferry. We can offer additional condos if you are a larger group and require additional units. Casa Playa Bella is by far and away the best place to stay in Playa del Carmen. I have rented the condo twice now, and have been thrilled with every aspect on both occasions. The condo is beautifully decorated in new and modern fashion, exactly as shown in the pictures, complete with original abstract oil paintings and all the amenities needed for a great stay. I especially enjoyed the huge shower in the bathroom and the gorgeous and peaceful pool!

The condo is a short walk from amazing beaches and the Quinta, where there are more fantastic restaurants than I could count. My favorite is the Glass Bar, perfect for a glass of wine and hours of people watching.

My hostess, Mimi, was spectacular. She is hip and fun, has a great knowledge of the area that she is eager to share, and went out of her way to make my stay comfortable. She even brought me homemade pineapple pancakes one morning when I invited her over for coffee!!

I would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for an excellent value that includes style, convenience, and space. A perfect vacation!

best part of our trip to Mexico

the condo actaully looks exactly like the pictures!! the communication from Mimi was very prompt and we made full use of the kitchen. the AC was not working for 2 days but the room was still very comfortable with the fan. only problem we had was washer drying not working but Mimi sent a laundry service person who was awesome. beach is close by but not quite walking distance in the July heat, so use the bikes (we had a car). kids enjoyed the pool and TV, while we enjoyed catching up on flicks in the master bedroom. kids also loved the paitning by Mimi all over the condo and we truly felt at home during the stay. the information binder and cell phone made everything accessible. Loved our stay in Playa.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The place is great, clean and with a great taste in the decoration my gf love it. Its nearby the beach and the 5th ave. Only a few blocks walking,

Mimi was always in touch since I made the reservations, and gave me all kind of tips, where to eat, which beaches were better and places to rent a boat and snorkel.

Totally recommend this place, the apartment, the pool, and the location.

I had a wonderful time in Playa del Carmen and staying in this condo was the highlight of the trip. It was just a few short blocks from the beach and 5th Ave. The condo was clean, fully equipped and very comfortable. In addition to the spacious rooms there was also a pool, 2 small balconys, a fully equipped kitchen, washer dryer, local cell phone use and 2 televisions with DVD players and a nice selection of DVDs to watch. Mimi was a fabulous host! I will be recommending this condo to all my friends looking for an affordable alternative to a hotel. The extra space and privacy made this vacation experience so enjoyable. Aqua Terra, Playa del Carmen

We were delighted with our stay at Aqua Terra. Mimi, owner, did an outstanding job to make sure that our stay was excellent. Overall, the unit was well maintained and met our expectations. The pool was great - well maintained - and refreshing (after initial shock of water!). Nice area to sit for lunch and lounging.
We were able to walk every where for the 24 days we were in Playa. The beach (would recommend coco beach - not as crowded) was 5-6 blocks from the unit.
The local store, Mega, was 4-5 blocks from the unit and was an excellent find for us. We walked there daily for groceries - very clean, helpful store. MUCH better than the Wal-Mart. Also, internet available there - air conditioned, clean, and fast service.
If we came back to Playa we would stay away from the downtown area, and again stay in a unit like this. The bus system is great - 5 pesos to go to either of the malls (which are new and have great stores and movie theatres) and the ADO which we used to get to/from airport to Playa. (about $8.00 USD)
We enjoyed many restaurants - both by the condo (very locallized) and in downtown Playa. The restaurants overall were varied, and excellent.
Again, can't say enough good things about Mimi - excellent host!! and owner.
