We stayed here for a week on our honeymoon in September. It is truly heaven. We spent the bulk of our time in the pool, which is just about the greatest amenity you could ask for. Very quiet neighborhood, gives you a lot of privacy. You're close enough to nightlife if you want to go do things, but you are free to come home to the pool and the grill when you're done with it. We talk about going back ALL the time!

We had a wonderful 9 day vacation staying at this cute little cottage. The place is small, no doubt, but we were out at the pool or in the boat most of the time. It was perfect for us. The relaxing pool waiting for us when we came back in from fishing. All kitchen items and linens that we needed. Our 19' boat was a breeze to get in the water with the ramp directly across US 1, go under the bridge and you were at our canal in a sec. Plenty of room for our trailer. Key West just a half hour away, close, but far enough away. We walked to the end of the the street many times to watch the Osprey family that had nested there. Lounged in the pool at night looking up at all the stars. We hope to do it again next year. Great time.

Wow! Cute place, great location, amazing night sky, beautiful breezes, comfy house! Clean and rustic place, had all the kitchen things I needed to cook. Could use some minor upgrades like new linens, and more lighting, and a better AC system, but it was summer in FL, which means HOT! Pool right out the back door, canal full of fish, like your own fish bowl. Perfect spot to boat from. Right out to a deep channel and 4 miles to Looe Key to snorkle or minutes to the back waters to see turtles, dolphin, and tons of fish. Just an awesome location. Owner was super as well as local manager. Very helpful and friendly. I plan to go back! Key West is only 25 miles away, if you like that, we were happy to boat and swim and grill then sit out back and look at the stars. Priceless!

Little Piece of Heaven

I can't say enough about this lovely cottage. My husband and I vacationed in the Keys for the very first time in June 2008. We fell in love instantly and plan to come back time and time again. The cottage is very clean and cozy. The pool was always just the right temperature and the view was OUTSTANDING. Each morning when I woke, I headed out to the pool to enjoy my coffee. My husband and I planned many afternoon activities including snorkling at Looe Key. Key West is about a 20 minute drive so that you can enjoy the tranquility of Summerland Key during the day and not miss the nightlife that is Key West. Don't miss the Sunset Celebration, The Square Grouper (fantastic Flash Fried Conch) or Bahia Beach!!! We know we won't. Thank you Rob -- for everything. Hope to be in contact soon. Kelly

Absolutely wonderful. Very private, quiet and quaint. Private pool. Great place to getaway and relax, but close enough to the wonderful beaches of Bahia Honda and Key West with all of its fun and sunsets!
