A Fresh, Relaxing Environment:
We present a beautifully decorated, three-bedroom, two-bath, luxury patio home for those who want a fresh approach to their vacation residence. Avoiding the clichés of many vacation properties, Chicago designer Jillian Fleider and stylist John Bonny of Los Angeles have created a bright, modern environment with soothing tones, designer furnishings, and pops of highlight color that masterfully blend into an inviting retreat. The designers' paint palette of cool blues, gentle greens, and neutrals, and the uniquely-grained hardwood floors, depart from the standards most often found. Contemporary paintings and art pieces harmonize and spice.
Approximately 2000 square feet of indoor living space on one level offer generous room to stretch out and enjoy the tranquility or entertain guests. The living room rises to a 17-foot cathedral ceiling, centered around the hearth and mantel of a gas-burning fireplace. A comfortable sofa, chairs and chaise lounge arc around the fireplace.
In the dining room, a modern maple and metal table seating eight contrasts handsomely with the bent zebrawood chairs. The table cleverly expands for larger gatherings. A kitchen pass-through makes serving easy. For more intimate dining, a table for four occupies its own nook off the other side of the kitchen. The adjacent bar can be used for mixing cocktails or staging more elaborate dinners.
Skylights in the kitchen's cathedral ceiling and the bar brighten the center of the home. The wood floors continue into the kitchen, fully-appointed with dinner service for eight, cookware and utensils. Added appliances for your convenience include a drip coffee maker with timer and stainless steel carafe; coffee grinder; a countertop oven and an easy-to-clean George Foreman grill with detachable grilling plates.
The master bedroom is spacious and sophisticated, with a king-size pillow-top mattress for restful sleep, caressed by 400-thread-count linens.
Three televisions are connected to nearly one hundred channels of Cox Cable Television. You can watch movies on the DVD player. For music and talk, the compact stereo system has a tuner and 5-Disc CD shuffle, or connect your iPod® to the Altec Lansing stereo docking station. Wireless and wired broadband cable Internet service allows you access to the World Wide Web, email, Skype telephone service and work (only if you must!) from your laptop computers.
If you're like most, you're coming to Arizona for the weather, so enjoy it in your expansive, private, walled backyard. It is indigenously landscaped and professionally maintained. Look for the dry creek bed leading to the rejuvenating in-ground six-person spa, fed by a cascading waterfall. Hand-made brick from Mexico paves the patio floor.
Watch and listen to the falling water while rocking in a two-person swing. There are two more sitting areas, one with a tiled patio table that is perfect for casual breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
