Photos and Description of this Sanibel Island holiday condo 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 6

The master bedroom and the living room open out onto a 26 foot long screened porch that has a gorgeous view of the beach and Gulf. The unit is beautifully decorated and is totally up to date. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the other 2 bedrooms each have 2 twin beds. There is also a utility room with washer and dryer. A boardwalk takes you from the swimming pool through a natural area to the world famous Sanibel shelling beach. We are located in the Sanddollar complex which is relatively small. There are 3 buildings, each with 12 units. All units are direct Gulf Front, so we have a wide beach in front of us. Each building has an elevator. There are 3 tennis courts, so bring your racket along with your swim suit. The unit has WIFI and there are 2 bicycles, sand toys and beach chairs in our storage locker for the use of our renters Send us an E-Mail and we will send more pictures.

Quality Rental with Nice Location

We did a last-minute booking in October 2009 and the owners AND management company were friendly and responsive. When we got there, we were so pleased with the location and living space. The pool was also very clean (even in off-season) and there were plenty of dishes and towels. There were tons of shells to be found all along the beach, and a beach short walk to the right revealed a sandbar that was great for skim-boarding away from shells.

The storage room contained several boogie boards and floating noodles, but no skim-boards or beach umbrella/chairs. We learned those can be rented, though, along with additional bikes (there are 2 in the storage room).

I would suggest packing some basics (salt, pepper, etc). since these basics appear to be removed after each renter. I did find sunscreen, coffee filters, dish soap, and 2 dishwasher packets... quite helpful.

I would also suggest stopping at the big grocery store before entering the island, since there is more choice and MUCH better prices (and the distance/toll makes you thing twice about returning during the week).

We will definitely consider returning.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We stayed in this beautiful condo on the beach July 5th-12th 2008. I would definately recommend it. The owners were very helpful before our stay and even emailed additional photos. I enjoyed our beach veiw from the lanai very much. the condo was very nicely decorated with very comfoatable furnishings. We will definately be back.
