Golf:
GOLF AND FISHING: Fishing, kayaking, biking: You can fish for trout or bass from several freshwater lakes in Orleans (note: fishing license is easily obtainable but required for freshwater fishing). Surf cast for striped bass or bluefish from the shores of Nauset Beach or go charter fishing in Cape Cod Bay. Fish from the piers in Chatham, Wellfleet, or Provinctown or rent a boat and drop lines at Town Cove. Kayaking has 'taken off' on the Cape and there are several places to rent kayaks. Guided tours are available for experienced paddlers or first timers. The quiet, peaceful waters of Pleasant Bay are perfect for paddling. The Cape has extensive bike trails through woods, dunes, connecting towns and going to beaches. If you don't want to bring your bicycle, rentals are available.
Golf: The Captains Golf Course is located less than 3 miles from the house and has two excellent eighteen hole courses, a driving range, cart and club rentals and a restaurant. Highland Links in Truro offers unique links golfing with sensational views of the Outer Shore. The Cape has many championship courses making it easy to play a different course every day within a short drive.
