Cozy, secluded and peaceful.

My husband and I stayed at Quarterdeck a few years ago and haven't stopped waiting for the time when we could return. It is located about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor in a secluded area. While there were houses nearby, we couldn't see them from any point on the property. It was pitch black at night, no light from anything but the stars. The private beach is beautiful but very rocky. We found it nice for exploring. There is also a flat, sunny yard leaving to the beach. There are several sliding glass doors that you can open to let in an exquisite sea breeze throughout the entire house. The house itself is small but comfortable. It was also very clean when we were there. There is also a big open loft area that is not described here. We highly recommend this cottage!
